language change should be a two-way street when speaking about communities that includes the disabled community and the non-disabled. please stop using the word able-bodied to describe somebody who seemingly does not have a disability.

this is quick PSA that I did on Saturday

Today is international wheelchair Day. I've only taken pride in my disability for the past 5 years. Even though I've lived with my disability my whole life it's been hard to see the beauty in it because so many people ask questions that are inappropriate or questions in general at inappropriate times. now that I am comfortable everybody that I am a good Roll Model for others with disabilities

In this episode I am talking about my experience as an access service client and I am voicing my frustration about what I think they need to do better. they are a great company but they need to rethink much other policy when it comes to helping the clients that they serve
