Stockholm Sweden’s ‘Story Metal’ trio PRESSURE have delivered yet again with another riveting and mesmerizing track from their up-and-coming album. Right from the opening laughter and guitar riffs from the heavy guitars, the song just keeps your ears at attention and wanting more. Olof's growling but clear tone just grabs and brings you inside the track.  This single release  is from the trio's up and coming album which will be self released sometime late April, early  May.

WHAT YOU SEE (is what you get) the latest single from Pressure continues to express the ins-and-outs of life's pressures. This particular track relays the message of how society perceives people. The man centered in the song is strong within himself.  The track pushes the genre of music Pressure intends it to, which they are calling "STORY METAL".

The term Story metal was first used in 2020 by the Swedish story metal band Pressure who plays story metal with three guitars and recorded drums and bass!

Story Metal definitely describes the concept of their songs and for the up-and-coming album.

The work of the ‘melodic rock’ band hailing from Stockholm, Sweden often focuses and embraces the pressures felt from everyday existence. Their lyrics ably demonstrating that there are two sides to every story - the good and the bad. Every song has a double meaning and they truly see music as a tool to handle the different pressures thrown at us from the modern world.

Repping New York, the birthplace of Hip-Hop, Nels The Artist finds music as an outlet to express any true struggle apart from his own. Being a diverse artist/musician, Nels has learned to appreciate the depth of "what is" Hip Hop. It’s not just the name of the genre, but the craft that is created with it. Born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio but currently residing in Atlanta, Georgia, DeVante Nichols also known as Vee Cole, has been writing his entire life. Vee started writing professionally in 2019.

He penned his first book series, “Love Isn’t Free: Dirty Intentions.” Vee started writing Urban fiction novels, but wanted to create something that was more to heart and decided to write Urban LGBTQ+ in particular, because there aren’t too many books out discussing the black gay experience.

Jeff, Robbie Wolfe, and bassist Cory Kay have been playing together since 1998, under the band name of Liquid Skye. In 2017, Jeff signed with Potomac records and recruited Todd Turgeon on drums.

Thus, The Jeff Carlson Band was born, in 2018. 

 After the fall of 2019, the label Potomac records folded,  and Jeff signed a new record deal with RFL Records in late December of 2019.  In February of 2020, RFL: Records released JCB's version of a remake of Foreigner's "Juke Box Hero" featuring Tesla's Frank Hannon on lead guitar,  along with Jeff's first single "Screamin' Inside."

In October of 2020, Jeff signed a new management deal with Nolan Hodges of MK Music to further JCB's career, along with getting an endorsement deal with Spetraflex cables. 

 

In the short time that the band has been together, they have released two singles, out on February of 2020,  along with writing and recording a brand new full length album entitled "Yesterday's Gone,"  that will feature the great Mark Slaughter on lead guitar on a remake of Journey's "LaDoDa."  The album will be releasing the first single entitled "Fire" which will be out March 19th of 2021.  They have shared the stage with the following heavyweight acts: Lita Ford, Bon-Jovi's Phil X and The Drills, Faster cat, Bang Tango, Firehouse, Jack Russell's Great White,Tora Tora, along with three new shows in early 2020 with Electric Radio Kings, Jizzy Pearl's Love/Hate and the mighty Tesla, which will be rescheduled in 2021 with Tesla.

Zone Out Records introduces their new and upcoming artist, Isaiah Hammonds, from Farragut projects. 

17 year old Hip-Hop artist, CDF Zay hails from Brooklyn, NY. Like any young artist who came from poverty, Zay says he's jusy trying to make it out. He hopes that his music will allow him the opportunity to give back to the people around him. To Zay, music is a way to mentally release and a way to creatively express his feelings. He says that he makes music so the people can feel his pain ... in a good way.

Jalen Pierce who goes by Shaheed Franklin, is the 14 year old brother of Author J.A Butler, who is signed with DREAMWAKEWORK publishing. Shaheed is striving to make it somewhere with his passion for music. He started making music just a few years back as a child, but wasn't consistent.

Now at the age of 14, he’s still grinding and has multiple streaming platforms where he uploads his music. As he continues to work for what he wants, he continues to improve in his music. Although he will have to overcome the treacherous environment of north Philadelphia, his determination shows anyone can make it to the top. This is just the beginning for a young man trying to make it out of the hood.

Shaheed is a very smart and gifted young man, who is also fluent in ASL (American sign language).

"LIL STRAP" is an Hip-Hop Independent MC from Decatur, Ga And Edgewood Hutchinson Street. He Says That He Got His Name Because He Was Bullied And Bought My First Gun A 38 Smith And Wesson And It Was Very Small.

Music Runs In His Family, It All Started With His Grandfather, He Was In A Successful Gospel Group call The "MONTGOMERY BOYS" And They Traveled Throughout Georgia Performing And Doing Radio In The 1960's. And That's Where His Journey Started With Music.

Now Fast Forward To 2021, Lil Strap Is Carrying His Father's Legacy By Doing Hip-Hop Music And And His Goal Is To Keep His Family's Name Alive.

Hailing from Detroit MI, BlackTear started his musical journey in November 2014 and received attention from veterans in his city such as Helluva, Big HerK, and Lady Blade. After making five tracks, he took a break from music and started Black Out Radio in 2015.

In 2016, he became an affiliate of Brick Squad Monopoly through Dolla Ru, also an affiliate of Savage Life/SuperUnit and a member of Wu Worldwide DJ Coalition.

In 2017, he became an affiliate of JoJo Capone's Global Gangsters and released a mixtape entitled "Behind Barz: The Arraignment," which is currently close to 100k hits on Datpiff.com.

From 2018 until December 2020, no music was released until this date. Now he is back, working on his second mixtape release "The Black La Familia."
