The holidays are a time when we are confronted with the patterns of behavior that have flowed through our family lines, and are rooted in colonization and empire.  What if we could come into this season with our eyes wide open, and with a powerful willingness to see these patterns for what they are? What if we choose to speak our needs and our truths, first to ourselves, and then to the people we hold most dear to us? What might change? What are the risks?
