Linda Goodman introduced millions of readers to astrology, but the woman behind the bestselling books has remained largely a mystery. In this episode, Casey sits down with author Courtney Ann LaFaive to discuss her new book, Following the Sign: Searching for Linda Goodman, America's Forgotten Astrology Queen.

Together, they explore Goodman's remarkable life, the cultural impact of pop astrology, the power of storytelling, and the delicate balance between mystery, belief, and reality. This conversation is a thoughtful reflection on the figures who shape spiritual traditions—and why their stories still matter today.

Our recent conversation with Fat and the Moon founder and creatrix Rachel Budde is inspired by a recent Fat and the Moon newsletter, discussing wellness cultures' relationship to the on-going polycrises. When do companies stand up and share their values, and when does their silence become deafening? Rachel discusses the importance of finding inspiration outside of mainstream culture, finding inspiration in the margins, and what it means to run a conscious wellness business in late stage capitalism.

Taurus season {part 2} begins with Beltane & May Day celebrations! Taurus season settles in like late Spring sunlight —steady, radiant, and full of promise. As the New Moon in Taurus on May 16th opens a fertile new chapter, we are invited to ground with intention, to trust in slow growth, and to remember that what is nurtured with devotion can flourish beyond our imaginations. With Jupiter’s blessings woven through this new moon, abundance feels more possible than before.

As the season unfolds, we are asked to soften into trust and to open to pleasure without guilt. Make space for joy, for rest, and for the quiet magic of becoming, despite all the pressures ramping up to kick us out of alignment. Stay rooted witches!
