Daniel Darling is the Senior Vice President for Communications for National Religious Broadcasters. Dan is a bestselling author of several books, including Teen People of the Bible, Crash Course, iFaith, Real, Activist Faith, The Original Jesus, The Dignity Revolution, The Characters of Christmas and the forthcoming, A Way With Words, releasing in September 2020. This past Sunday we took some time to watch the livestream service from Passion City Church. Louie Giglio preach a sermon entitled, "Where Is God?" where he looked at the hearts of the disciples on the day wedged between Good Friday and Easter Sunday.

 

On that Silent Saturday, the disciples certainly had questions, fears and doubts. Among those questions could have been, "Where is God in all of this?" Yet, He was present and at work - even in the stillness of that Saturday where the tomb was closed and the body of Jesus still laid lifeless.

 

This week, while many of us wonder about the presence of God in this epidemic, we want to offer the encouragement God gave us this weekend - He's still there. He's still at work. He still loves us.
