On this week’s podcast we celebrate Metroid’s 30th anniversary (because someone has to) before touching a bit on the Metroid 2 fan remake’s unfortunate fate. Both Lucio and Jared have No Man’s Sky, and we have a brief comparison of starting experiences, look for deeper coverage in the coming weeks.

But most of our time this week is devoted to special guest Ross Przybylski, a longtime industry veteran who is not only starting up his own game studio in Salt Lake but is also sharing his experiences and expertise with developers on YouTube. We leave no stone unturned, how do you break into the games industry? What is the best type of pizza? All the hard hitting questions are answered within!

Some folks are having bad weeks and we’re here for all of them on today’s podcast. First we have the “unjustly” banned Overwatch cheaters. Is it too much to ask that they be allowed an unfair advantage over all the other people playing the game properly? Then we have the poor folks at Hello Games, whose upcoming title No Man’s Sky has leaked onto the internet. And of course there’s Pokemon GO, which cleans up any evidence of one of their massive bugs just in time for another one to take center stage.
