On this week’s podcast we honor the soon to be latest game to receive our website’s worst possible score: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants In Manhattan. But before we go too far into Turtle territory we also spend just a bit of time finishing last week’s discussion on Doom.
Doug also tries to say “cunt” as many times as possible, so uh, maybe don’t listen to this in your liberal arts college library.
Hey here’s a novel concept, we actually have some new games to talk about this week. Jared reports on his adventures in Uncharted 4 while Lucio tells us about his exciting trip to hell in Doom. We also talk about the terribly unfortunate player base for Battleborn, the curious upcoming Tetris trilogy, and get into some specifics regarding just how Nintendo will disappoint you with the NX.
Doom and Uncharted 4 are still oh so slightly on the horizon for discussion so this week we make do with some updates on Dark Souls 3, Disney’s decision to shut down Disney Infinity, Gene Roddenberry’s tragic legacy, and the ultimate fate of John Bly in the smash hit Brisco County Jr.
It’s a slow week in both news and new releases so in this episode we revisit some previously discussed titles including fleshing out some discussion on Dark Souls 3 as well as catching Michael’s unfortunate reaction to the final episode of The Detail.
On this week’s podcast we discuss Uncharted 4’s broken street date, Supergiant’s new game announcement, and the recent dump of Lionsgate films on Steam. Lucio also tells us about Aurion: Legacy of the Kori-Odan and Star Fox Zero. Michael reads a digital comic in the form of The Detail, and Jay tries out the Nioh demo.
