We’re doing something a little different for the podcast this week. We’ve dived back into our storied archives to bring you what we consider to be some of the best moments in our past 100 episodes. Come on in and enjoy all the memories, or if you’re new to the podcast soak in all the pure gold you missed.

So game of the year voting this year ended with a back and forth tie too close to call. Rather than arbitrarily stopping the poll we decided to serve as a tie breaker and we’re now prepared to announce our GOTY on this very podcast.

On today’s podcast we celebrate the arrival of Star Wars by discussing the best and worst games to grace us in the name of the series. We also discuss the new Smash Bros DLC announcements and Hideo Kojima’s new venture with Playstation.

On this week’s podcast we quickly curb stomp some unnecessary Fallout discussion by talking about everyone’s favorite thing: Hideo Kojima. Wait, where are you going? Don’t leave, we’ll give you a copy of Just Cause 3 which we also discuss today.

Okay, before you ask, yes the theme is different this week. One hundred episodes later we’re going to pick a new one. Think of this as our transformative teenage years where we find learn who we are and how our bodies work. Is this the final theme? Maybe? Probably not. You’ll hear more in the coming weeks, if there’s one you like let us know, if not I guess you can let us know that too.

On this week’s podcast we discuss Bloodborne’s emergency maintenance and Dead or Alive Xtreme 3’s non-existent US release. Jay spends an hour experiencing all that Star Wars Battlefront to offer, Jared is in love with Lara Croft’s foul mouth, and Lucio tells us all about the rootin tootin good time he’s having with Hard West.

It might not be the best, but there’s no denying that Fallout 4 is the biggest game of the year. Once again we’ve found ourselves in that rare situation where all of us have actually played the game, and so we thought it would be appropriate to do a podcast devoted entirely to it.

Jason Brown joins us once again and we talk about everything from “chowdah” to how to properly park your power armor.
