E3 has come and gone and it’s time once more to saddle up with the Enemy Slime Podcast. We can’t help but talk about Bethesda and more specifically Fallout 4 yet again. Jay tells us all about what it’s like to be Batman’s car. Lucio wanders the barren world of Life is Feudal.
This week’s podcast is expertly hosted by none other than Jay Joseph Jr.
Today we react to the fallout (heh) of the Fallout 4 reveal, Jared reveals how little he knows about the east coast, Jay prefers Phantasy Star to Operation Abyss, and we all make offensive accents to honor Not A Hero.
This week we honor the precursor to the internet by talking about Hatred and Splatoon, which go together like peanut butter and Vegemite.
Editor’s Note: Michael has asked we clarify that he has actually never played Cobra Club, and in fact believed it to be a game about a bunch of snakes that started a literal club which is almost certainly something he would play.
Well we went from having one game to talk about last week to having too many games to talk about this week. Jay accidentally erases his Life is Strange save, Jared is a terrible maid in Sunset, Lucio likes Toren but insists it’s a bad game, and Michael struggles to find compliments for Windward.
Be warned, we spoil pretty much all of episodes 1-3 of Life is Strange.
So uh, not a lot happened this past week. The Witcher 3 came out. That’s about it. We talk a little bit about Dimension Drive and their recently trolled Kickstarter before we jump right into complaining non stop about everything that’s wrong with The Witcher series. Take solace, we really do like the games, even if our conversation here doesn’t indicate it.
Oh, here’s a picture of Jay being super metal.
On this week’s podcast we talk about the latest Assassin’s Creed reveal, Nintendo’s venture into the theme park world, and how weird it is that you can actually buy Disney Infinity figurines in stores.
On this week’s podcast we talk about Mortal Kombat X’s travesty of a PC port, Westerado’s shaky price tag, Wolfenstein The Old Blood’s rough start, and streaming dongs on Twitch.
On this week’s podcast we talk about the recent catastrophe with Steam and Skyrim mods and Konami’s curious general decisions. Jay reviews Mountain Dew Sangrita, and Jared talks Chroma Squad.
Jason Brown joins us this week for a jam packed podcast. We discuss Killing Floor 2, Game of Thrones, Besiege, and Titan Souls. Jay tries his first dessert wine. Michael does his best to explain Moon Studio’s very odd follow up to Ori and the Blind Forest.
At one point we discuss a penis death machine, you can enjoy that visual accompaniment here.
We’ve got everything you’re tired of hearing about this week. Bloodborne, Amiibos, and just a taste of the new Mortal Kombat all await you on this week’s podcast!
