Today we're working on grounding with the Ace of Pentacles. This Autumn/Winter time of year is the perfect time to create space for more grounding and to also explore new ways of grounding that might offer you a host of new long-term benefits!
Prompt 1: What are your most prominent worries or concerns right now? Maybe it’s about money, family, grief, work, identify what it is that is taking you out of your body and causing you a sense of overwhelm or lack of control over your own life.
Prompt 2: Now think about what you need in order to counteract those feelings. What is the complete opposite of thinking about those things? Maybe if you’re worried about money, then you need to do something that is not associated with a capitalist world, something that’s free to enjoy like a walk in the countryside or going to a museum or art gallery.
Prompt 3: Once you know what is needed, what activities and actions become available to you? What comes to mind, write all your ideas down. It can help to do this as an idea tree, especially if you have more than one worry or concern.
Prompt 4: Now, commit to doing those things. Block in time in your calendar, make that space for grounding in your life.
