A college student, a youth leader, and a high school senior sit down with their Next Gen pastor to share unfiltered stories of drug addiction, recovery, and faith. Each story traces a different path into substance abuse and a different moment where God broke through. Together they explore why people turn to drugs in the first place — peer pressure, trauma, grief, anxiety, the need to escape — and make the case that understanding those root needs is the key to both personal recovery and ministering well to others. This isn't a clean after-school-special take on drugs; it's an honest conversation about how hard the battle really is, and why community, accountability, and faith are the only things that actually get people to shore.

Next up in the our series about Biblical views on intoxicating substances–Pastor Nic and Jill with Oaks were joined by two of our elders, Monte and Bill, as they had a follow-up discussion from the first lecture in the Intoxicating Substances series.
