We can get to eternity with a lot fewer regrets when you live for what matters most. What matters most? God matters. People matter. Eternity matters.

We were joined by Heather Mercer for Global Focus Sunday. Heather is a victims of violence activist in the Kurdish region of Iraq. Heather shared her inspiring story including when she and her team were captured by the Taliban in Afghanistan for sharing the gospel in the strict Islamic state, tried for a capital crime, and miraculously released by the United States Special Forces.

Job was an incredibly good man who knew what it meant to suffer. By studying Job's story, we can get a better understanding of how to handle suffering. During times of suffering, we need to be real when going through let down experiences, refuse to entertain sin, and humble ourselves before God's wisdom and power. More than seeking answers and explanations, we need to seek the presence of God.

God is working right in the midst of our struggles, and He redeems even in the most difficult times. This teaching focuses on Romans 8, showing us how the ultimate good is God's glory. As Christians, we need to center our lives on hope, the glory found in Romans 8.

Have you ever faced opposition and felt God let you down? No matter what you can see in the natural, God is fighting for you in the supernatural.
