We're back with our newest episode, “the 20 Crack Commandments”. This is a comparative analysis of the two different “10 Crack Commandments.” The original by the Notorious B.I.G. and the update by rising star, Benny the Butcher outta Buffalo. 

Naim and I discuss each track individually and then we’ll wrap up by comparing and contrasting them. It’s pretty simple. And we actually had a lot of fun dissecting this stuff. And I hope you will too.

Setoiyo and I prepare for our upcoming debut album recordings by discussing Chris Rock's 1991 debut album "Born Suspect". We analyze the title track then compared 3 tracks from the album to  later Chris Rock bits on the same topics. It's a deep dive into Rock's progression as an artist and as a thinker.

We also share our concerns and strategies for preparing for albums and lament about the effects of COVID on the process.

In this week's episode, I spoke to Shane O'Connor (Off-Leash Comedy) and Setoiyo (Them Boys) about the Spike Lee joint "He Got Game" and its inspiration, the life and career of Coney Island's own, Stephon Marbury. We also chopped it up about streetball and a little Sixers talk.

On this week's episode,  I spoke with Dr. Timaree Schmit about the language we use to talk about sex workers, especially as it relates to sex workers as victims of crimes. We discussed the Yorkshire Ripper, serial killer from North England in the '70s. Dr. Shmidt is an educator and performer with a focus on human sexuality. 

I speak with another Improv teacher, Chester, PA's own Lamarr Todd. We talked about his experiences teaching improv in Chester, PA. forensic linguistics, and his experiences his attending college in my hometown, Lincoln University.

In this week's episode, I talk to Alex Grubard, creator of Weeding out the Stoned, a comedy show about sobriety". We discussed the history of his show and the stigma and etymology of Weed in America. We're also joined by "Get Work's" Dan Vetrano and later Na'im Ali from Durag & the Deer tag will rejoin us and add some DMX style gruff to the track.

 In this week's episode, I talked with a fellow comic and educator, Ty Break Jamison. We discussed our experiences teaching in inner-city schools and we also got into a deep convo about the language of cults and how it relates to the current political discourse on social media.
