Her lessons blend music theory, culture, and technology, using tools like Chrome Music Lab and BeepBox, and encouraging performances in French, English, and sign language.

From composing video game soundtracks to leading school-wide Talent Shows and inclusive holiday concerts, she creates safe, inspiring spaces where every student feels heard. A dedicated advocate for arts education, she has also personally invested in instruments and resources to build a thriving music program.

Ms. Asly-Verdon was formally presented with this honour on December 15 by Alexandre Boulerice, Member of Parliament for Rosemount–La Petite-Patrie.
