Enjoying Christ in His word

Did you know that we believers in Christ are a miniature garden of Eden, having Christ in our spirit as the tree of life and Satan in our flesh as the tree of knowledge of good and evil? Oh Lord! We have only two choices: God and Satan, life and death; we can either set our mind on our spirit to enjoy life and peace, or we can set our mind on the flesh to partake of death. Lord, strengthen us to choose to set our mind on the spirit today! Amen, Lord, we love our spirit!

May we see that the flesh is the body of this death, weak and powerless in acting to please God.

Did you know that, if we want to maintain our eating of Christ as the tree of life, we need to love the Lord with the first love? Oh Lord, cause us to love You more, even to love You with the best love! When we love the Lord with the first love, we will eat Him as the tree of life, and we will be the testimony of Jesus, shining Him forth to others. Amen!

How can we apply all the constituents of the armour of God seen in Ephesians chapter 6? How can we as believers in Christ and also as the Body apply in our experience the armour of God? We need to pray! We need to pray over all the items of God's armour and exercise our spirit to apply them to our experience through much prayer, even persevering in prayer before the Lord. Amen, Lord, may You gain the church as the corporate warrior You need!

We exercise our spirit today, Lord, whenever we sense that we have any negative thoughts or worries injected into us by the enemy.

Praise the Lord, we believers in Christ are members of the Body of Christ, and as the Body, we put on Christ as the breastplate of righteousness and we shod our feet with the firm foundation of the gospel of peace! What does it mean for us to walk in the light? We believers in Christ are light in the Lord, but how do we live and walk as children of light? May we open to the Lord so that He may shine on us and even through us so that we may walk in the light, be light in the Lord, and have the fruit of light. Amen, when we walk in the light, God is expressed in our living!
