Enjoying Christ in His word

How can we love the Lord and love others as Christ did? It is only by being brought into love as the inner substance of God to enjoy His presence in the sweetness of the divine love and thereby love others as Christ did! It is only when we believers in Christ become the same as Christ as love that we can love God, love others, do anything in the church life, and build up the church! Amen!

Lord Jesus, we want to take the way of love today, the most excellent way to build up the church as the Body of Christ. We open to You, dear Lord; pour out Yourself as love into us and fill us with Yourself as love. May we do everything in love and with Christ as our love.

It is one thing to love and it is something else to walk in love. We can walk in love only when we see the love of God that came to us to reach us in His mercy even in our low condition to redeem us and make us children of God! How we love our dear Father! How we appreciate His tender love! And how much we want to walk in love, walking in intimacy with Him and caring for His tender feeling! Father God, we love You!

You are our person, Lord! May we realise that, for the practical existence of the one new man, the total person of the old man must be put away, and we must live by our new person!

How can we have the new man in reality among us today? We need to let the peace of Christ - the same peace which Christ made on the cross in abolishing the ordinances in His flesh and creating the new man in Himself - arbitrate in our hearts today! Amen, may we be those who keep the oneness of the Spirit in the uniting bond of peace, allowing the peace of Christ to dissolve any disputes and preside in us and among us for the church as the one new man!
