This week on enLIGHTen Gathering, I had the gift of sitting down with Tammy Uzelac Hall to talk about something that feels simple… but is often so hard to live: Trusting the hand of the Lord. What does it really mean to trust Him when prayers feel unanswered when the path feels unclear when the outcome isn’t what we expected. One of my favorite parts of this conversation was reflecting on the word AMEN. In Hebrew, it means to trust… to rely upon… to make firm. Every time we say amen, we are choosing trust. Today’s conversation rested in the quiet power of the Shepherd. . The rod that protects. The staff that guides. Both symbols of love—not fear . Psalm 23 reminds us we are never walking alone. And as Elder Holland taught, Jesus never gives up on us— not in valleys, not in uncertainty, not in the moments we feel most unseen . Because He is the Good Shepherd. . Because He is “I Am He.” . We can trust Him with everything we face. . Even here. Even now. 🤍

These traditions don’t replace faith— they shape it, guiding our hearts to worship more intentionally as we celebrate His coming and look forward to His return.

President Nelson once said, “The human body is a MANIFICENT MASTERPIECE.” And this week on enLIGHTen, we explored just how true that is. With my good friend Tanna Fox @live_right_nutrition, we dove into the miracle of the body as a temple for our souls— And vessel of His grace and light and how choosing light in small, everyday ways lifts both the physical and the spiritual. Because it seems that the more we honor this gift, the more we feel and come to know the Giver.

This week's episode of the enLIGHTen podcast took us through the Nativity exhibit at the Kirtland Temple Visitors’ Center— hundreds of symbols, stories, and cultures all pointing us back to Jesus Christ . As we walked and talked, we were reminded that every nativity is a testimony crafted through someone’s gifts . Every artisan adds their piece to the story… just like we can . God magnifies whatever we’re willing to offer . This Christmas season, may every shepherd, every star, and every humble manger pull our hearts back to Him . Because remembering Him we remember ourselves the one God truly knows His own divine, beautiful and magnificent creation!
