In this podcast we had the amazing privilege to talk with Nina Kelly. Nina was born in Russia where at the age of 5 her and her 3 siblings were taken away from their mother and put into and orphanage. Two years later she and her youngest brother were adopted by a couple from Arizona. Her story was very emotional and inspiring.

Wow! In this podcast we sit down with our sister, Jen Cummings, and have her tell us what she went through when her first child was born with a heart defect. She takes us through all the surgeries and the scares of that journey. She also shares with us the crazy events of her then husband having a psychotic break.

A week from the date of this podcast our grandmother of 84 will be going skydiving with Eric. We wanted her on the Podcast to talk about her life as a young girl in Iowa and her journey to Arizona where she raised 10 children, lost a son and a husband, and reached her dream of becoming a nurse at age the age of 50.

Since starting the podcast we have had many people tell us we should tell more of our own stories. So we gave it a whirl and along the way we connected some dots from the past to present that were a bit unexpected.

In this podcast we go deep on the subject of our relationship to ourselves. The conditioning and the survival mechanisms we develop at a very young age, drive us in our present day behaviors. Or at least we think it does.

Paris Ashcroft comes in to talk to us about what it was like loosing his father to suicide at the age of 14. He goes over the lessons he learned dealing with depression after loosing his father. In addition he tells us how as a man with kids of his own he constantly has to work to learn the lessons his father was not there to give him.
