Sensing imminent defeat, the Democratic party is folding its “big tent” flaps, hunkering down, and resorting to hyperbolic, if not hysterical rhetoric.

Take your pick, for this is your “one final warning:” “Democracy is on the ballot.” “Democracy is under threat.” “Democracy, as we know it, it’s over.” Or, better yet, “Democracy is over.” Forget the real issues—inflation, crime, the border, a proxy war, education, free speech—no, if the Republicans take the House and Senate, we are “…on track to repeat what happened in Germany,” according to Nazi-card-playing Senator James Clyburn (D-SC). So much for “lowering the temperature,” Senator.

Friends, fret not: democracy will survive this election. It may even flourish. If you’ve not done so already, make sure to get out and vote. Working together, a political sea change is about to occur, sending dozens of Democrats in the House and Senate packing, and removing Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer from their leadership roles. It will be a breath of fresh air after two years of one-party rule.

And thanks for sharing this positive podcast with someone you know who may remain among the “undecided.” Your encouraging word could make the difference.

Actor, Martin Sheen, just sent out a fanciful, fundraising email for the Democrats, saying he is “…truly disgusted. Disgusted by Donald Trump and his Republicans…disgusted by their support of insurrectionists…blocking reproductive rights, restricting access to the ballot, and attacking our democracy.” Who’s kidding whom?

With the economy tanking, a proxy war in Europe growing precarious, and an increasingly confused President calling the new Prime Minister of the UK by the wrong name, the Dems have no choice but to bring out the old war horses of abortion, voter suppression, gender equity, and race to rally their radical base.

From brave Latino women running as Republicans for Congress to concerned parents running for school boards across the country, people are stepping forward, “disgusted” at the price of food, disgusted at the price at the pump, disgusted at the new racism masquerading as antiracism, and disgusted at their children being indoctrinated and not educated!

The Left seems to have a genius, albeit a twisted one, for making up words and phrases as they go along.

With their weaponization of language in hand, the Left has weaponized our trusted institutions—the DOJ and the FBI. In so doing, they’ve cast an ever-widening net, hoping to catch those on the Right whom they purport to pose a “threat to democracy,” from concerned parents (aka domestic terrorists) to Christians who happen to love the good ol’ USA (aka “Christian Nationalists”).

Along the way, our hats go off to the fearless Matt Walsh and to a brave sister of the Kappa Kappa Gamma Sorority (University of Wyoming, Laramie), who has something to say about its newest member, biologically male (now she/her), Artemis Langford.

In this week’s podcast, we focus in on the ban from leftist groups at the University of California, Berkeley, who are targeting pro-Israel speakers. Ironically, the home of “free speech” now supports those campus organizations who want to cancel the voices with whom they disagree.

From Berkely to Vanderbilt Divinity School to New York University to the DOJ, the hunt is on to “investigate and prosecute all organizations, individuals, and entities” that share information deemed to be false. The question remains: Who is determining what is false or true?

We highlight some heroic people along the way who will not acquiesce to the prevailing cultural orthodoxy.

Highlighting our podcast this week is the election of Italy’s first woman Prime Minister, Giorgia Meloni, already the recipient of “the slings and arrows” coming out of the White House and mainstream media.

“Fascist,” or some variant thereof, seems to be the Left’s new buzzword. With nothing of real accomplishment to run on in the November elections, slurs and slanders have become their default platform. Take your pick: Are you a far-right domestic terrorist, a Jan. 6 insurrectionist, a semi-fascist, or just your ordinary, garden-variety Maga Republican? Like multiple gender pronouns, it’s hard to keep up.

We wrap up the show with some encouraging heroes, including Judge Richard Young, who made the right decision for religious freedom in adjudicating the Fitzgerald v. Roncalli High School and Archdiocese of Indianapolis case.

Drawing “liberally” from a brilliant article by Liel Leibovitz found in tabletmag.com, the September 7th edition, entitled “The Plot Against Jewish Education,” we discuss The New York Times’s “hit job” into the yeshivas of the Hasidic communities in Brooklyn, etc.

Along the way, San Francisco citizens decry their lack of safety, fearful that their city’s “glory,” like Rome’s, “is of another day.” We continue to comment on the liberal, progressive church’s commitment to “dismantle” the vestiges of colonialism, and the incursion of the state into the religious liberties of our private institutions.

We finish with a recap of the travail imposed upon the liberals of Martha’s Vineyard, who were unceremoniously burdened with fifty immigrants, compliments of Governor Ron DeSantis.

The show centers around the courageous Paul Rossi, a math teacher who had the temerity to challenge the teaching of Critical Race Theory at the Grace Church School in Manhattan, an elite Episcopal school, with a Junior Kindergarten through 12th grade program.

In a conversation with Mr. Rossi, the Headmaster of Grace School privately admitted that such teaching demonized white students. Nonetheless, Mr. Rossi was subsequently “relieved” of his duties and is now a voice of reason encouraging countless teachers across the nation to stand up for their convictions
