    * You started out as a drummer but then got into technology, can you tell us about that?* In the beginning, how did you establish your expertise to get noticed by celebrity rock stars? How did you differentiate yourself as an audio technologist?* How did you make the move from music and studio technology, over to designing home theater systems?* How did you establish Audio One as a premier technology company?* You designed studios and home technology systems for your clients, what’s unique about your approach that they come to you for both?* You’ve extended your audio and drumming expertise beyond the studio and into authoring, how does your unique experience make your book “Crash” unique?

He started in the industry early, playing live at 12 years old, where he was focused on drumming with bands in Boston. He found the future of drumming in technology, starting his career first with a consulting business at age 16, which helped to make his connection with Aerosmith, where he was their in-house engineer/technologist for 13 years and continued working on their singles, albums, tours and even the theme song for the Spider-Man animated television series with Joe Perry along with much more starting in 1989.
Throughout his career, he has worked with industry icons such as Head Monster Noel Lee (Monster Products) and hundreds of artists including the Stones, Ringo Starr, Elton John, Sting, Bryan Adams, Journey, Styx, Phil Collins, Shakira, Rascal Flatts, Ozzy Osbourne, and Chick Corea. He is a recipient of many gold and platinum albums as technical consultant, engineer, and/or programmer.
David’s involvement in the music and audio industry branches from his involvement in AV facility design with Audio One, Frangioni Media including his books Icon and Crash, the Frangioni Foundation, and All Access IDA.

  • Gettin’ Steamy with Chef Randall, Founder of TURBO Cookware

Randall Cornfield, a housewares industry veteran and prolific inventor best known for creating TURBO Cookware, a range of products that use the power of steam to create healthy, delicious meals in a fraction of the time joins Enterprise Radio.

Listen to host Eric Dye & guest Randall Cornfield discuss the following:

    * Tell me about TURBO Cookware.* What inspired you to launch this brand?* What problem does TURBO solve for consumers?* What is your background in the culinary space?* What are any struggles/ successes you can share that occurred when you were launching TURBO Cookware?* What is your vision for TURBO Cookware moving forward?

Randall Cornfield is a housewares industry veteran and prolific inventor best known for creating TURBO Cookware, a range of products that use the power of steam to create healthy, delicious meals in a fraction of the time. Randall also developed bolo, the rolling knife, as well as a range of other innovative kitchen products. Born and raised in Montreal, Canada—a real “food” city—Randall learned to cook at his mother’s side from a very young age.

Randall began his career as a self-taught chef in 1984 by launching his own catering business before deciding he liked the product side more than the cooking itself.  In 1985 he built and owned a small chain of gourmet kitchen gadget stores and later went on to help develop a gourmet division of a major Canadian retail chain. In late 1999 Randall invented his very first product which began the TURBO Cookware journey. To date, the TURBO Cookware range has sold over 2 million units. In 2018 after having developed products under other people’s brands, Randall decided to change direction and start to build his own direct-to-consumer brand.

Given his expertise working directly with consumers in the retail space, Randall has the insights to develop kitchenware that consumers will use and truly love. Randall looks forward to bringing continued innovation to the kitchen through developing additional products within the Chef Randall Brand.

  • Meet Shannon Ashford, the SoCal Native Raising the Bar for Fashion Brand Transparency

Shannon Ashford, Founder and Designer of Tom Foolery, with the brand’s goal to not only create visually appealing garments, but to maintain integrity in the production process joins Enterprise Radio.

Listen to host Eric Dye & guest Shannon Ashford discuss the following:

What plans does the brand have for 2019?

Tom Foolery started with the simple idea of creating rompers that allow women to use the ladies room without sitting on a drafty stall and clutching a naked chest. The solution was this: an open, overlapping side seam with a drop-down seat. All Tom Foolery rompers are made locally and under fair conditions. The brand’s goal is to not only create visually appealing garments, but to maintain integrity in the production process. All fabric is made from plastic bottles collected in Haiti.

Tom Foolery partners develop environmentally responsible jersey and create thousands of jobs in developing countries with the production process. By making their final products in the United States, Tom Foolery cuts out carbon emissions from international transportation. As the company grows, Tom Foolery aims to develop their own manufacturing facilities and textile mills. In so doing, giving them complete control over environmental impact. Tom Foolery used jersey in all of their jumpsuits made from 50% cotton and 50% plastic bottles collected in Port Au Prince, Haiti. With the help of our loyal customers, Tom Foolery has repurposed about 1200 plastic bottles.

Shannon Ashford is the Founder, designer, creator, and brain of Tom Foolery. A SoCal native most likely to be found with her bare feet in the sand quoting Will Ferrell comedies. Her curiosity has taken her around the world, up mountaintops, down sea caves, and out of open plane hatches. Always finding the light in others, her goal is to dress you to match the beauty within. She describes these rompers as the perfect manifestation of the energy and adventure of a tomboy packaged as a classy lady. Made for the daring and refreshingly original.
