  • The Rise of Male Grooming Leads to Successful Franchise Concept – The Gents Place - Entrepreneur Podcast Network – EPN

Ben Davis, entrepreneur, Founder and President of The Gents Place, a lifestyle club founded in 2008, bringing men’s grooming to the next level joins Enterprise Radio.
This episode of Enterprise Radio is working in conjunction with the Franchising Channel.
Listen to host Eric Dye & Ben Davis guest discuss the following:

    * What can our audience of entrepreneurs learn from your experience? Good or bad?
    * What inspired the creation of The Gents Place?
    * What makes The Gents Place unique to other salons in the industry?
    * How much does it cost to open a franchise location? Is there financing available?
    * What are your best tips for creating a name for your business that clearly communicates your values?

Ben Davis, the Founder and President of The Gents Place, founded the men’s grooming and lifestyle lounge back in 2008. Since then, the company has grown to include lifestyle clubs in Dallas, Southlake and Frisco, Texas, as well as Leawood, Kansas with locations in addition to the development of two locations in Chicago, one in Austin and six in Houston. The Gents Place provides luxury men’s grooming services in addition to straight razor shaves, shoe shines and hand and foot repairs in a refined and timeless environment.
Once a busy executive with responsibilities far more reaching than his neckline, Ben formerly avoided haircuts at all costs. Tired of lamenting the choice of either going unkempt or suffering through discount barbershops and effeminate salons, Ben decided to go into business for himself, opening the first Gents Place to provide businessmen with an option complementary to their lifestyle, not corrosive to it.
Years later and amid applause from the likes of Forbes, GQ, Men’s Health, and the Dallas Business Journal’s 40 Under 40 Awards, The Gents Place has made a nice dent in the industry—or, rather, helped repair an industry that had previously been dented.

  • Living Your Best Life: Best Selling-Author Danny Bader Discusses How He Transformed Tragedy Into Triumph - Entrepreneur Podcast Network – EPN

Danny Bader, a best-selling author of Back From Heaven’s Front Porch, Five Principles To Creating a Happy and Fulfilling Life joins Enterprise Radio. Danny is also an inspirational coach whose life was transformed by a near death experience more than 10 years ago.
This episode of Enterprise Radio is working in conjunction with the Author Channel.
Listen to host Eric Dye & guest Danny Bader discuss the following:

    * Tell us a little bit about yourself. Did you always want to be a writer or was this something that was the direct result of your incident?
    * Back From Heaven’s Front Porch, Five Principles To Creating a Happy and Fulfilling Life is a fascinating read. Can you tell our listeners more about it and what you hope that readers get out of it?
    * What did you learn about yourself while writing it?
    * How do you tie the lessons from your book into your inspirational workshops and seminars?
    * For someone who may just be hearing of you for the first time, what is the one thing that you want him or her to know?

Being electrocuted is, perhaps, one of the unluckiest things that could happen to a person. But to Danny Bader, it literally ignited a spark within him. Some may call it a deeper purpose; others simply refer to it as a passion. Yet if you ask Bader, he calls it divine intervention.
Because for him, he chose to see the lifealtering occurrence as an awakening that drove him to finally pursue his passion – to become an inspirational speaker and, eventually, a best-selling author.
Bader launched his company jckrbbt in 2007 that focused on helping others truly understand themselves by creating a powerful vision for their futures. “I named it for the jackrabbit,” he explained, “because the jackrabbit has great vision because its eyes are high up, and back on its head, giving it a great awareness of the environment. I took the vowels out to give it a different look. Through my speaking and workshops I encourage people to think about their lives, and offer principles they can apply to get more happiness and fulfillment in their lives.”
His innovative concept was well received in the hustle and bustle culture of the corporate world and, combined with his exceptional interpersonal skills and enthusiasm to help others really understand themselves, jckrbbt grew at an exponential rate.
Soon he was working with major corporations such as Marriott, Adidas, Reebok, Wawa, Merck Pharmaceuticals, Christianna Health and Astellas Pharmaceuticals to present workshops to their employees.
“The idea is to help workers become more productive,” Bader explained, “To show them how to better manage themselves and their emails and other ‘stuff’, have a clear vision, and harness the power of stillness.”
Never one to rest on his laurels, Bader added the title of best-selling author to his resume in 2012 when he released Back From Heaven’s Front Porch, which received rave reviews from Success Magazine and ranked #1 and #2 on Amazon in the categories of inspiration and self-help. Based on his own near-death experience, the book beautifully chronicles one man’s struggle to be alive again after an accident claims the life of his friend and nearly his own.
After spending a few moments on Heaven’s front porch with God, he is thrust back into his old life. In the months that follow, he struggles to find purpose and meaning in the day-to-day of life. In his quest, he uncovers five principles—JCKRBBT—necessary to move him from just living again…to being fully alive.

  • How education needs to change moving forward in the 21st century - Entrepreneur Podcast Network – EPN

John Crestani, an internationally-renowned expert in affiliate marketing again joins Enterprise Radio for a series of interviews. On this episode, John will discuss how education needs to change moving forward in the 21st century.
Listen to host Eric Dye & guest John Crestani discuss the following:

    * Whats wrong with education today?
    * Now, in past interviews you’ve spoken about education as ‘the education industry’, what do you mean by that? Education is largely comprised of non-profits, yet it seems you accuse them of ulterior motives, can you explain that?
    * You’re obviously involved with universities and colleges, and I heard through the grapevine that you are going on a tour speaking at a number of institutions. What exactly are you speaking to these students about, and what messages are you trying to convey?
    * What do you believe the future of education looks like?
    * What are the best examples of education, in your eyes?

Born in 1987, John Crestani has accomplished a lot in his twenty-nine years. Cretstani had his first taste of financial & mobility independence in 2006; as he and his first car sped off to college. Fast forward to 2009 and Crestani, 21, traveled to Thailand to figure out his direction in life and “find” himself. During this time he read a number of spiritual works, such as The Alchemist, that would later influence his life.
But his saving grace turned out to be a business book: The 4-Hour Workweek by Tim Ferriss, the now-classic manual for breaking free of the nine-to-five desk job by building an online business. John Crestani was sitting on a beach in Thailand, poor and lost in his life when he opened a book that helped transform him to becoming a motivated and successful internet entrepreneur.
After a number of years of trial-and-error of building his internet business, Crestani finally managed to create a multi-million dollar business, met his wife, and travel the world. In 2016, he had his first child while growing the company. He went from deep in debt, to having a successful, cashflow-positive business, that supports his life.
As of late he’s gone on to build an empire in education. And now he’s taken it upon himself to teach a handful of aspiring entrepreneurs how they too can transition to the new entrepreneurial economy, and be the boss of themselves. Currently Crestani is preparing for the release of his new platform; a dramatic new business model focused on helping others gain control of their time.
Crestani hopes to share his unparalleled insight and experience and wants others to become part of a community of people who share similar aspirations. “Now is the only time to start living life on your own terms,” exclaims Crestani, adding “I hope to help people in any way I can.”

    * What would be your biggest tip to all those aspiring startups out there?

These are the people that she helps make successful. With the right training Ingrid realised they could fast track their business startups and save time, money and be more successful more quickly.
Healthy Numbers has developed a unique 7 step methodology for small business startups. This forms the basis for the face to face training as well as online training courses. Ingrid has recently developed a specific online course for Pilates Studio businesses which has been endorsed by the Australian and American Pilates Peak Body.
