One of my former players, Logan Schaubert, joins the show. He was one of my players when I first started coaching in the Bismarck Youth Football League and later went on to be part of some very successful teams at Bismarck High. Logan has had quite the journey since graduating from high school and recently achieved one of his biggest goals by getting accepted into his dream school. 
When Logan returns home to North Dakota in the summertime, you can find him training basketball players at I'm Possible Training (IPT) in Bismarck.

4th grade teacher Maty Lund joins the show. Maty is just finishing her second year as a 4th grade teacher and has learned so much so early on in her career already. She also taught Kindergarten as a distance learning teacher during the "COVID era", which certainly brought many unique experiences with it. She has become so much stronger as an educator simply by reflecting and putting her new ideas and passions into action in her classroom. We also discuss how our lives outside of school, including coaching, have allowed us to set boundaries and unplug from the crazy life of being a teacher.

Jacey is the host of "The Happiness Project" podcast, where she prides herself in helping burnt out teachers find their happy self by mastering boundaries and finding freedom in their own health. She offers some FANTASTIC advice that will help you continue to love your career while also thriving in your personal life outside of work. Former University of Mary wide receiver and 2023 NFL Draft prospect Danny Kittner joins the show. Kittner has spent the past few months preparing for the NFL Draft. He was a 2021 D2 All-American along with holding both NSIC and UMary program records. He had the opportunity to showcase himself at NDSU Pro Day and also had a workout with the Arizona Cardinals. We talk about his college recruitment process, his time at UMary, and all about what the draft process has looked like for him throughout the past few months. He will also soon be receiving his college degree from the University of Mary, which he completed in Winter of 2022.

5th grade teacher Haley Becker joins the show. Haley is in her first year teaching and actually did her student teaching in my 4th grade classroom in the Fall of 2021. As I have looped with my students from last year into 5th grade this year, I have been fortunate enough to work on the 5th grade team with Haley this school year at Lincoln Elementary. It has been quite a unique journey as we've both learned how to teach 5th grade throughout this school year. We talk about takeaways from her student teaching experience and she details some great tips for new teachers and educators who are beginning to make their way into the education field.
