Welcome to entrepreneur like you with business attorney and entrepreneur chance reynolds, a daily podcast that brings you the best legal marketing strategies and storytelling tactics that will help you grow your business the right way. Hey guys, what's up? I'm trying to take a little pause before I started talking. Think because
I'm noticing that my facebook live start. I'm like already in the middle of a sentence or something, so I'm chance reynolds business attorney, founder of LLC Freedom Company that sets up a lot for entrepreneurs, real estate investors, business owners, people like yourself. Hopefully if you're watching this. So I started doing something that uh, uh, God, I don't want us to, I don't know if he would be considered a guru yet. Um, I think he's probably well on his way to being a guru, a Jordan's stanley pain. He's a real estate guy. He, he specializes in kind of purchasing multifamily properties and I'm holding them long-term to create long term wealth for himself regardless. He has a course where he teaches a. it's a marketing course, but essentially what it really actually is a personal branding course. And so I went through his course, I'm sure he has several other courses. Um, I was more curious about the marketing and it was a breath of fresh air because most marketing stuff when you, when you look at real estate investing has to do with how you're going to, you know, approach sellers, find sellers, send the mail driver drive for dollars, which is just, if you don't know what that is, driving around and looking for kind of a distressed property and then figuring out who owns it and they're getting them under contract and all that stuff.
I'm sure work. So those were all the traditional ways of marketing in real estate. But I'm going to stand in the way I think is much smarter because it kind of looks at just personal branding and all the gurus that you see pushing all these other, these other methods of marketing really. And the. And the reason they're even able to reach someone like myself is because they have a good personal brand and they're pushing their personal brand out. So regardless of that, Jordan, Jordan, Stanley pain has this program. I had no idea it was about personal marketing, but as soon as I got into it, first module, I was like, Yep, this is a, this is a personal branding, a method that he's using as a personal branding course and it's actually pretty bad ass. And I started doing exactly what he said with his facebook facebook page saying he suggested, you know, open up your facebook page, completely public, Max out your friends list with you know, as relevant to people as you possibly can and you're relevant target audience and start providing them value and showing them how valuable you are.
I started doing that and it changed my llc business immediately. I was intending for it to be something that was just the beginning of my real estate investment business, but it really blew up my llc business like immediately. And so I took his advice and you know, it started like a couple of people reached out to me on facebook messenger and then a couple people you know, reached out to me on my facebook page. Then people started reacting to the facebook lives that I was actually doing and then people started a booking my calendar and then all of a sudden my calendar filled all the way up and then it's like today we're um, you know, at the beginning of the week before I opened my calendar up and really started pushing it. I may have talked to two or three people a day and if I'm lucky I close one, one of those people through my calendar, like through that specific method, there are other ways that customers come to me and I closed them through referrals and stuff like that.
Um, but not just like cold, you know, cold people that are just now seeing me for the first time and then booking a booking a time to talk with me and then I'm getting on the phone and closing them. Not necessarily closing. And I don't even look at it like I'm trying to sell them at all. I'm just answering their questions straight up. Like I give him 30 minutes. Yesterday somebody, when I got on the phone with, there was a saying, you know, I know we've booked this for 30 minutes, but can I have an hour? And I was like, well, you're my last appointment. What? I can't really say no because my point, my purpose in this business is to help as many people. If you have an hour's worth of questions, I guess I'll sit here for an hour. And I did and I think we even went over an hour, but today I was, I was talking to so many people.
Um, I had 10 appointments today and I talked to every single one of them for as long as they wanted and provided them all the knowledge that I possibly could. Um, there weren't hardly any questions that I didn't know the answer to you. I'm pretty knowledgeable about [inaudible]. When people start asking me about other aspects, like their state planning and stuff like that, I have to shut it off because that's not my specialty and I'm not just going to pretend to know something I don't know. But one at the end of one conversation I had was probably the fourth or fifth person I talked to you and she was a real estate investor and she was curious about the llc and told me, you know, she had considered doing this and that, but she didn't know when to do it or what to do about it.
And I won't rehash the whole conversation, but I just laid it out like this is what we'll see is do lcs will protect you when you're entering into a contract here. You know, they'll protect you when a wholesale deal goes wrong. She was a wholesaler when a wholesale deal goes wrong in three months down the road, the person that you helped, you know, avoid that foreclosure situation and then an eventual eviction and all this being other record for six years, you know, you helped them move that property and then they get their assets in order like six months later. And then they turn around and realize that maybe I didn't have to sell that that property. And they're starting to delude themselves that maybe they weren't in as bad a situation as they actually were, forgetting how desperate they were to, you know, get out of that situation and avoid that foreclosure.
I'm, what contract do you think they're going to turn around and look at? Well, what they're going to look at is that contract with when you're, when you're actually the wholesaler going, getting them under that purchase agreement. Sorry, my brain is a bit fried right next to him and talking to little sees like all day hours and hours of that. So I probably talked about a little seeds for like seven hours straight with people today. Um, but yeah, so that's the contract they're going to look back at is the whole the purchase agreement that the wholesaler is putting the seller under because that's the first point of contact. And if you're entering into that contract and your own personal name, I'm a lawyer will be salivating at seeing that contract because they're going to know, you know what, OK, this is a good lawsuit is because there is no asset protection.
There's no entity protection of an LLC. There this weekend, if we sue this person and we win, this isn't a business that we're pursuing this as a person and then they have cars, they have the money that they're making up these wholesale deals from wholesaling your house, they have a home savings and there are other ways to kind of protect these things other than an llc in some states you can do. They have homestead laws where you can not allow credit judgments to, uh, you know, allow your house to get taken. But a lot of people don't even know about that and they never take a simple step of just filing this piece of paper with the county and lawyers can look that up in two seconds. And, um, if they see that you're going to be the person that gets sued, not the, not the buyer on the back end, that's going to be you.
And I just explained that, explained that and just laid it out just like that. And she was like, you know, you're just so passionate about the LLC. And I just started cracking up laughing because I just had like a triple espresso. I'm like, you know, 2:00 and her, she was like my 2:30 appointment and I was just laughing like, oh my God, I'm coming across like a complete maniac. She probably thinks I'm like coked up or something because I was just laying it out because I had just talked about the [inaudible] was so many clients or potential clients, you know, leads all throughout the day and just laying out. Most of them were in the same position as her being wholesalers and I just laid out like this, this is where the liability is in wholesaling and just laid it out like super linear. This happens.
Then this happens so you could lose this and this is why you need to do this before you do this. And she was like, yeah, you're so passionate about the LLC. Like I really appreciate that and it's like that's kind of a, that's like a good compliment. But it's. I never imagined myself to be super passionate about anything with the law really until I started this llc company and I realized the actual need for this. So it's been an awesome week. Just seeing other entrepreneurs that are so passionate about what they're doing and instead of just wasting time doing it, thinking that they have to do everything themselves. Actually reaching out to somebody who is knowledgeable and I'm helping everybody that reaches out to me whether they want to become a client of mine or not. I told them, you know, in the beginning if you reach out to me, I'm going to help you.
I'm going to answer your questions about the LLC and if you choose to turn around and take with the knowledge that I give you and go to legal zoom or go hire some other attorney, then that's just fine. Um, but I'm gonna help you no matter what, you got 30 minutes of my time. Let's hash it out. And it's frustrating with to be honest. Like, of the conversations are very frustrating because sometimes people think they understand it and they very clearly don't. And they think that you're. And they rightfully so, they think that you're trying to take advantage of them. I'm not because I am trying to take advantage of them, but because there are so many predatory people out there, so I understand that. Anyway, I'm rambling on. It's been A. I feel like I have a. those juicers like an orange juicer. Those have been scrambling.
My ears, you know, stuck in my brain is today, so it's been a. it's been a hell of a week for my business. I hope your business is going well. If you, if you're on here right now and you have any questions about the LLC, I'd be happy to answer them. If you ask them in like the next, like 60 seconds, I'll stay on here. If there are no questions, reach out to me. Go to Loc. Freedom.com/calendar. There it is. Go there. Set up a time to talk with me. I, I'm pretty full next week. If you want to get in tomorrow, how do you have some times to, um, tomorrow? Let me look. You can't actually book on my calendar. I have to have 24 hours advanced notice before you can book on my calendar. I have it set up that way. I have some times between, well, pretty much from two, 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Message me if you want those times to 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM central. Um, you can, you can just reach out to me, messaged me right here on facebook. Don't worry about going to the calendar because the calendar won't let you book until next week. And I'm like booked up for most of next week. So hope everyone, everyone's having a great night. Hope you had a great day and your business. Let me know how I can help you. Um, we'll see freedom.com/calendar. Hope to talk with all you guys.
Hey guys, thank you so much for listening. I really, really appreciate everybody tuning in and all the great feedback I'm getting about the podcast. I'm going to keep it up and I just wanted to say thank you. Also if you want to figure out the three ways that most entrepreneurs are getting themselves sued, you can head over to [inaudible] dot com slash get sued. I have a little freebie there that kind of outlines the three major ways that people are getting sued and how they can easily be avoided. So hop over to llc freedom.com/gets sued and pick that up today. Yeah.

Welcome to entrepreneur like you with business attorney and entrepreneur chance reynolds, a daily podcast that brings you the best legal tips, marketing strategies and storytelling tactics that will help you grow your business the right way
for new hires and online entrepreneurs. More specifically, we live in this world where you understand at least you should understand if you're going into this, into this business. If you're really going into any business now, I'm someone's at least going to approach you and expect you to understand this or you're gonna have to hire someone who understands how online marketing works. If so, so the facebook hearings hearings, but mark Zuckerberg testifying in front of the Senate yesterday, two days ago in Congress yesterday and um, or the house yesterday rather. And
Yeah,
the questions are getting. He's getting asked, you know, are being highly mocked for sure. But what's more concerning to me is that the no, it doesn't seem that there are any elected officials that I can see that have any understanding of what modern businesses, these are the people that are regulating
how
business is essentially going to work, how facebook can do business, which affects, I don't think they understand how many people's businesses are built on the back of a social media and more. Most specifically facebook, like facebook has built probably more entrepreneurs and help more entrepreneurs launch businesses than maybe any platform ever struggled. To think of anything that's been as as empowering as facebook. Just because you can create a community so quickly, you can provide value to that community on a daily basis. Many times, days, many times a day is you want you can. You know you could even. You don't even need a website necessarily. I mean you need a way to take payment if you're in business, but you could do everything straight up through just a private facebook group and there are so many businesses that are done this way. So many people make millions and millions of dollars off of a tactics free tactics. Not even. I'm not even talking about running ads, free tactics using, using facebook. I've seen that's the most common way that people get into business. It's the best way to test business ideas as well. So I really, it makes me nervous to see,
uh,
you know, law makers
that are regulating potentially what can happen on facebook. Having these concerns about facebook that, that really don't represent what my concerns would be and what a lot of online entrepreneurs concerns would be. There's no one there representing my perspective on that and that scares me and makes me feel like, I mean, of course you shouldn't ever keep all your eggs in one basket and that's. Most people say, you know, an email list is more powerful than, than a facebook group or anything like that. But to build an email list to be able to communicate, it's just not the same thing as communicating on through facebook and through, especially now that there's facebook lives and you can just show your value immediately and drive people straight from facebook to a calendar, get them on the phone, talk with them about their problems and help them solve their problems.
Facebook is the best way to do. I think that's better than email because if you're using email, you can't just kind of have a live chat through email that uh, people can, you know, go wherever. I know people use zoom to do that, but I don't like. So it was not as good as facebook live doesn't work as well. At least not for me. In my experience. You may have had a different experience and that's fine, but I can only say what's worked in my business than with worked in my businesses. Facebook using facebook live, my personal facebook profile. And before that, even to a much lesser extent, a facebook business page and a facebook group, but using my personal facebook live to communicate my value by teaching, giving away free information on facebook and then asking people, hey, if you have any further questions or if this is something you liked or you want to work with me, you needed help from me, then go to my calendar and let's have a chat.
And here's my calendar. That's, for me been the funnel that's been the most successful. That's really, I'm building my business on the back of that very specifically, you know, tactic that very specific funnel. So when I hear Orrin Hatch or one of these old time senators that's just been around for like 20, 30 years and is so isolated, doesn't have a clue of what business looks like today. At least for most entrepreneurs. I'm not talking about massive corporations. I'm talking about most solo entrepreneurs that are using vas or, or maybe a couple of employees to run their business. Um, him not understanding how facebook even makes money. It's one of the biggest players on earth in every arena of politics, money, m, e, commerce, anything, anything you can think about. Facebook is in the middle of it and he doesn't even understand even the basics of it.
Not like you need to understand how the Internet works, but just understanding that facebook, this billion dollar company, how, how they make money in the world, they're like swinging elections one way in the other and he doesn't understand it. They run ads. That's scary to me. Like, Oh my God, these people who knows what kind of dangerous stuff they're going to do, trying to regulate facebook. Ah, not understanding that that's they're regulating businesses that they have no clue what those businesses are doing. So yeah, I know everybody's been looking at that the last several days, but it's just, it's scary. It's pathetic in a lot of ways. And I don't know that Mark Zuckerberg is really. His job isn't until prop up all these businesses. I mean, he, his job is just kind of run his own business. Um, but it scares me that he's kind of the representative of that.
I probably, he's not what facebook is today, probably doesn't resemble really what he, you know, his soul vision of it, so I'm not sure he's even the best person to be answering these questions and I think he's said that many times, you know, just saying like trying to just say I don't know the answer to that question. You'd be better suited like talking to someone in my team when they asked him a very specifically to how, if he would help them draft legislation essentially that's what they were asking him and he was like, what? Like I don't really do that. I try not to like be involved in this aspect of like lobbying lobbyists. A lot of times I will actually write the laws. That's not some conspiracy. That's just reality of how it is. Most industries that are being regulated or at least trying to draft original versions of whatever the final wall is going to be regulating themselves.
It's the craziest system. It makes no sense to do it that way, but that's just how it is just reality. And I think that they're just reaching out to him like, OK, we need you to draft this thing up, tell us how to regulate you best because we don't know what the hell is going on. And he's like, well, I don't really know what the hell is going on either. That's not really my position. But, uh, certainly I'll have my team look into it, you know, because they have. So you'd be a fool to think they don't have a lot of money going into a congressional campaigns. They do. I'm sure that they have a on both sides of the aisle. They have a lot of money out there representing their interests, um, for this very specific reasons. So I don't know. That's what's going through my mind today.
Business has been great. I'm not trying to be negative whatsoever. Businesses really good. But in the back of my mind I'm watching that going, Huh, this is my, my businesses for better or worse. The reality is that I rely on facebook a lot. It's not the sole thing I rely on, but that's how I drive most people to my email list is through facebook, so I'm using email, but my traffic source, my free traffic sources, facebook because I can communicate directly with potential clients and that's really valuable to me because I have valuable things to tell them and uh, facebook is a great way to, to reach them. So I don't know. Let me know what you think. Hope everybody's having a great week. The week's wrapping up, I hope you're out there doing some personal and building your business so everybody have a great day.
Yeah.
Hey guys, thank you so much for listening. Welcome to the entrepreneur like you with business attorney and entrepreneur chance reynolds, a daily podcast that brings you the best legal tips, marketing strategies and storytelling tactics that will help you grow your business the right way. So for the first time
since I've started my business, my calendar has for this week over 15 people just today, tomorrow and Friday that I'm going to talk to you about setting up C's. Um, that's a good thing for sure. It's not like I want to be complaining about the potential business that I have coming into my business. Uh, I'm happy to help as many people as I possibly can. I want to be able to talk to every one of them. But the realization that I'm at a single point of failure in my business kind of swept over me in the middle of the night last night. And I'd literally just like popped out of bed at 2:00 AM. Just woke up like worried about it. Like, oh gosh, I have all this potential and why business? How will this, these potential clients coming in? How, what's going to happen at BAE, if tonight I get sick or something, I get the flu and it's to the point where like I can't take, you know, all the proper steps I need to do to help these people and then I lose all these potential customers and my reputation, you know, in that community of real estate investors becomes damaged because I just did not set up to handle this level of business yet.
And it just like kind of scared the hell out of me because I want to be able to serve as many people as I can and I know the best way to serve them as to actually speak with them one on one. That's kind of the difference between what I provide or what other companies provide. And the thought of, of not being able to do that is, is not uh, something I really look at. So if k. So when I started my business, I'll say this, I started my business thinking I was going to model it after something like a, a, a closer to what, what inc filed us. That's a business that is similar to legal zoom way smaller and what they do is just just do, you know, filings don't worry about like wills and divorces and everything that, that, uh, legal zoom does and I kinda thought, you know, that would be something similar that I would do, like I would talk to people that I would just drive them straight to this kind of funnel that they would go through.
Um, but it just turned out that like to do that wasn't really feasible without spending a ton of money on a website that had a, uh, an order form that was really dynamic for each state because there's just so many different possibilities for what people need. They might need a registered agency, they might not, they might need multiple also use which if they do that, I want to be able to provide them with the discount, things like that. So I kind of abandoned that and just started talking to people one on one since most of my stuff for referrals, that's makes a lot of sense to talk to people because they want to actually get you on the phone. And at least know who the hell you are. If they just want to just go through an online funnel, they can just go do it themselves.
They want some actual guidance. So I have a pretty good idea of how I'm going to solve that where I don't have to have to actually speak to every single person and answer every single question. I'll still speak to a lot of people, but some people just, they would just want to be done, you know, they just want to move forward as quickly as possible. So I've got to figure out. So that's gotta be my first step to speak because that's literally going to keep me up at night until that, that gets done. So today, that's going to be a big driving force of what I do. I have to talk to all these people, but then I might have to close down my calendar for a couple days next week. So I can just focus on this because I have help. I, you know, as I said yesterday, the podcast, I hired someone to help me with the filing aspect and that's going to be tremendously helpful.
That takes a huge load off of my mind knowing that I have someone that's knowledgeable, that's professional, that's done as many of these as I have and I'm a trust him a lot to move forward helping me with that aspect of the business. He's not going to do all the filing, but he's just going to take a small, small bit of the load off of me so I can, you know, do promotion and things and get on the phone with people and operate the business in all the other arenas that I need to do. But um, that's just one aspect I need some way that I can have someone else that's maybe talk to people because if I get sick and I can't talk to people, that's like a pull out a potential business that goes out the door. And I don't want to be a single point of failure in my business.
I don't want to be, I want my business eventually, you know, maybe in six months to a year from now, it'll be something that'll probably was to walk away from it. It could operate, you know, if I would need to go out of town for take my kid on vacation for three or four days, my business isn't just going to come to a screeching halt if I do that. So that's what I'm thinking about today. Hope everybody's having a great day. I hate to complain on here, but my business, because everything's going well. It's going way better than it ever has. Everything is growing at an exponential rate. Um, but I'm still the single portal failure my business. And that makes me very nervous.
Hey guys, thank you so much for listening. I really, really appreciate everybody tuning in and all the great feedback I'm getting about the podcast. To entrepreneur like you with business attorney and entrepreneur chance reynolds, a daily podcast that brings you the best legal tips, marketing strategies and storytelling tactics that will help you grow your business. The right way,
and I've really been implementing in my business recently is reaching out to other leaders in different industries. So for example, I talked with leslie black whose a, an accountant and provide really comprehensive financial services for businesses. So it's not just accounting, it's like, what is your problem? We have a team of people to solve it. So I had no idea how, how well that was going to work out. But um, she works with a lot of clients, love her clients, needed all CS. And just by having a discussion with her and going on facebook live, we established a relationship where, you know, we're, if somebody comes to me looking for financial advice, that's not really what I do. So I send them. I will be sending all those people over to leslie black like, um, and she's going to have a course as well soon.
And I'll be be suggesting that course too, because I know just from talking with her that she's really good at what she does. She's very knowledgeable and she, and she's smart enough that if she doesn't know how to do something, she'll find somebody who does and um, she's reciprocating and her clients need to know. We'll see. She's sending them my way so that, that's one person that I did that with. And then I reached out to another, uh, somebody I don't really know as well and that I'm so busy. I'm not sure he would even want to do an interview like he doesn't really need anything from me is Max Maxwell who's a real estate investor and kind of quickly becoming an online personality, like just doing personal branding, like in the smartest way maybe of anybody out there right now. Almost at the level of a, like a Gary v or something where it's like he has somebody full time traveling around with them just to create youtube video blogs and q and a's and stuff.
Uh, just creating massive amount of content and not really selling anything. Just free content over and over and over, building up his personal brand because his business is real estate, so he doesn't need to make money off of his content really that much. He does charge money for people to call them on the phone, I suspect not because he needs that money, but because so many people will be reaching out to them. So I reached out to him and told him, look, this is a massive problem in your facebook group with your community. Um, [inaudible], I have a solution, you know, I'm trustworthy here. My credentials, if it's OK with you, I would like to offer your facebook group something. Uh, you know, very discounted. That's very valuable to them. And uh, I had no idea he could've just, I honestly assumed he wouldn't even respond, but I was like, you know what, it's worth reaching out to them and I'm not going to do this to like every group because then it wouldn't really be special.
I'm only doing this for his group, at least in that niche. I might do it for online entrepreneurs in a different group, a different group that I see people asking that question. But uh, for now I reached out to him. He got back and said, yes, people have been scammed in this group. Just make sure to let them know that I said it was OK and go ahead. And so I did that yesterday and I just, instead of just driving people to like an online form, I'm driving them to actually talk with me. Like let's get on the phone book, something on my calendar and let's chat and probably I'm leaving money on the table by doing that. I could just send people to a form and just shoot them a payment link and never discussed with them what their issue is. But then they'd be in the same position of not understanding what the LLC.
The purpose of it is. So I actually want to talk with them real quick just because I just feel like that's so helpful. It's helpful for me. I put a face to the, to the business and it's helpful for them and I'm not going to be to do that forever, but for right now it's so mutually beneficial that there's no reason not to do it. So there's the, there's a whole method of reaching out to other influencers called, uh, I think it's called dream 100. And I know Russell Brunson talks about it and, uh, I think one of his kind of proteges is a guy named Dana Derek's. I believe that's what his dream [inaudible] book is. He sells books. This is crazy, but he writes books and sells them like high ticket books, like $2,000 for a book. I don't know what the dream 100 costs, but I know ultimately the dream 100 idea because I'm not going to pay $2,000 for a book.
I'm at least not right now. But the idea behind the dream 100 is that you reach out to a hundred influencers and try to provide them value. And by establishing that relationship, like, you know, you'll get something reciprocated back to you. But ultimately it's just providing them some value, so I'm not going all the way to making a list of a hundred people and reaching out to them providing value. But, uh, if you did that, man, that'd be a hell of a smart way to start a business. I mean, paid traffic is great and I've talked about on here like you don't know if you have a real business until you can drive paid traffic and if you're, if you're in the online realm, I think that that's probably true. But for me, referrals for the LLC business, at least referrals have just worked so much better.
Like paid traffic, uh, estimate, crack that code. I'm still going to be working on cracking that code because that could really explode your business to where you're kind of a local business to all the way to, you know, where you're competing with, with people like legal zoom and I've talked about on here in the last week. Um, this is like, not necessarily all that realistic, but I do want to compete with legal zoom. I do, I, that they created a million [inaudible] I would like to create a million little cs, um, cause that means I can help a million people and I can establish a business at the same time, but I'm keeping my prices, you know, reasonably I see some online companies doing it for like 40 bucks, but I guarantee you the data, they cannot speak with their clients. Like there's just not a possible way that for 50, if you offered it for 40 or $50, you're probably setting up people.
You're running into the same problem as legal zoom where you're setting up. People are setting up the LLC season the wrong states and with wrong information and they don't know what the hell to do. And ultimately like, um, you're probably gonna get a bad rap. Yeah. You're going to push a lot of people through your funnel and through your business. But I just don't, that's not how I want my business to run yet. Maybe someday down the road I'll just say this is a lost cause and, and a lower my price to something like that. But right now, no, I'm not doing that. I don't have the highest priced product. I don't have the lowest priced. I'm kind of right in the middle and that's, that's fine by me. Of course. I'd rather have like a thousand dollar product that it's like I only need to sell 100 people a year to have a six figure business.
But as of right now I'm just focused on doing these levels and I'm still learning the real estate business and still still possibly going to be launching a pre-foreclosure litigation firm. Um, hopefully this summer, maybe, maybe next month. Um, but that's really up to my business partner who's already in that business and how quickly he can kind of move from his business to this business. So, so many things in the works. But my llc business right now is just as bumping like it's never. Nothing I've ever done has ever resulted in this many, um, calendar one of my calendar. It's like filling up this fast. So it's going to be a hell of a week. Every week is becoming busier than last week. I hired somebody yesterday to help me with the [inaudible] and really excited about that. He's already handled [inaudible] LLC. I'll probably have him handle about half the all season and come through, um, meaning like just telling him, look, this is, this is what I discussed, here's what the client needs.
And then he just sets everything up and he's a former attorney and working as a paralegal now so that, that relationship, I think it's going to be pretty great. Interviewed him yesterday. He was the first person I interviewed and I hired him. I know that's not necessarily always the greatest thing to do, but he was just such a good fit that I was like, let's do it. Um, for somebody else would snatch them up before I could. So either way, that's what's going on. Crazy day. Hope everybody's business is growing. Hope you're reaching out to other influencers in your arena, in your market and establishing relationships. Um, because that is one quick way to lift your business off the ground. Hey guys, thank you so much for listening. I really, really appreciate everybody tuning in and all the great feedback I'm getting about the podcast and I'm going to keep it up and
I just wanted to say thank you. Also if you want to figure out the three ways that most entrepreneurs are getting themselves sued, you can head over to llc, freedom dot [inaudible] slash get sued. Welcome to the entrepreneur like you with business attorney and entrepreneur chance reynolds, a daily podcast that brings you the best legal tips, marketing strategies and storytelling tactics that will help you grow your business the right way.
Alright, so it's episode two of coffee on, on a white trash porches with garbage. The name is so long. I can't even remember what it is this morning. Instead of roosters crowing, like last week I'm up a little bit later and it's like a duck fight or something in the background. So if you hear that, I'm pretty sure there's some sort of duck war going on at the pond in the creek, whatever next to my house. So I hear that. It's not like I'm not. I don't know if you guys ever saw that Sarah Palin video and she was running for president and she was like, I think it was maybe even on Thanksgiving or something, but it was like she was like a Turkey slaughter house for some reason. She was doing press there and she's talking about how great the country is or whatever in their binder there, like decapitating Turkeys in the thing.
That's, I'm not, that's not what's happening here. Even though that, that a, a great place to do a podcast. I guess maybe I'll go to the Turkey slaughter house next time I want to do some press, but uh, this week was one of the best weeks. It's not one of it was numbers wise, the best week I've ever had in my business, in any business I've ever been in. Um, I have to attribute it to the facebook live posts. So I, I, I'm assuming people know what I talk about, what I say. I've opened up my facebook. So when I say that opened up my facebook, what I mean is that I am doing all of my, my facebook live streaming from my personal facebook profile and everything is set to public and a lot of people don't want to do that because they're afraid facebook is going to not be like a fun place to be for them anymore.
And it's just all business and they're afraid of broadcasting their personal life and mixing personal and business and all that. But the truth is, uh, for me, I'm willing to sacrifice, have facebook being kind of a fun place for me to be an exchange for growing my business because my business to me is more important than my facebook profile. And if your business is not more important than your facebook profile, then maybe you're not ready to have a business and if you're struggling, if that's something that you want to do. So really ultimately it's just about personal branding and reaching more people. It's establishing yourself as an expert through providing a bunch of free value and you hear that all the time, like provide value, provide value, and half the stuff that people reach out to me about is like, how the hell do you.
Are you like doing the things that you're doing? How are you providing this much value for free? I swear I get messages like that every single day and I just tell them no, that's not what I charged for. I don't charge to, to tell them how to not make mistakes on legal zoom. I don't charge to, uh, let them know the nursery LLC, an s corp I charged to help them get those things set up. So yeah, so that's what, that's what I charge for and don't mind providing a lot of free value to show people that I am valuable. It's not like I'm trying to trick them into knowing, liking and trusting me. Those are the three things that you need people to do before they pay you a, it's not a trick, it's just reality of showing that I am knowledgeable in those areas. So that's what I did this week.
It resulted. My goal, I talked about my podcast on Monday morning, was to make a one sale a day straight up just through facebook and I exceeded that. I made more than I ever have, more than one sale a day where I'd never even got off of facebook to make the sale. Meaning that came in through some sort of value posted I provided in a group or answering someone's question about an llc somewhere or a friend request. Somebody and I saw alive from there, they messaged me, I provided them value, told them what I do, answer every possible question they had and um, didn't pressure them to, to buy anything, but then when they were ready they purchased from me and that happened more than once a day this week and with what I don't have a thousand dollar product, um, if I did, I could automate it probably a little bit more because it wouldn't be like a one on one type situation.
I haven't implemented a ton of systems in my business just yet. But uh, this week got so busy that I realized I need to have way more system. So the next week that's going to be something I'm focused on is maybe bringing in a legal assistant or a paralegal. That's kind of the plan for this week is figuring out how I can create a system to answer all the commonly asked questions to frequently the Faq, the frequently asked questions. I really want to have a better online forum that kind of explains each piece of information that I need. Maybe in video form because I have it where it's written out and it explains like for example, like what a registered agent is and what they do, but everyone when they get to that question, they just email me and ask me and that's pretty soon. That's going to be not reasonable for me to answer every one of those questions, one on one with somebody and I don't really want to pay somebody to do that because that's just going to, I'm not, I don't have that much business where I could pay somebody to just answer every email.
I would rather answer as few as even if a few emails as I can or have some sort of automated thing where they have that question, I can just fire off a video to them. Like, here's exactly what you're asking because I get asked as every day, here's the question to it, just to Faq so you can save time. Um, so that's one thing I'm definitely going to do this week is just frequently as questions. I'm starting to interview some legal assistants, paralegals, and uh, utilizing the, um, virtual assistant that I have now a little bit more effectively to help me create some, some to uh, sorry about batteries dying to help me create a little bit better of a flow for my customers and for myself, my workflow and a followup sequences and I appreciate, I got to figure out what an upsell in the business on the backside of an llc because there's other valuable things that these people need.
Um, I need to figure out what that is and I need to figure out how to a, create something else to sell people because I don't want to just have a one time product for customers. It's a lot easier to sell customers that are existing customers than it is to create new customers. And so I need to start working on that. That probably won't be this week because I'm going to just work on systems this week and continuing to provide value on facebook. Either way, this is a long rant of, of what I'm going to do. I also need to create a spreadsheet of the people that I need to follow up with this week. Uh, you know, I'm just going to do all that frequently asked questions, still working on those just like I did last week, a spreadsheet where I'm putting all these common questions in there this week.
I'd rather start just knocking out videos, um, to answer those. Yeah. So great week in my business. Hopefully this week is twice as good or at least as good and uh, I'd be happy to if it just stayed the same this week while I'm creating these systems because if it gets even crazier this week, man, I'm gonna have to like hire somebody so quick that it will, it won't be a, probably a very smart hire and I hope I don't have to do that. So either way, hope everybody's having a great weekend. Thanks for tuning in. Like, and share this. If you see this also you can, you can find me on facebook, facebook.com/chance reynolds. I think that's it. Or you could just google me and facebook. So the first thing that comes up, chance reynolds. Either way, hope everybody is having a great weekend. Hope you're sitting on your a white trash porch with garbage and having a coffee as well and relaxing a little bit this weekend.

Welcome to the entrepreneur like you with business attorney and entrepreneur chance reynolds, a daily podcast that brings you the best legal tips, marketing strategies and storytelling tactics that will help you grow your business the right way.
People ask me this every single day. I have a story about working in a call center, um, as probably I was 16, I may have been 15 years old. Um, so the, so the question that people ask me is, should they set up their [inaudible] with legal zoom? It's the strangest thing because people will set up a time to talk with me like a free consultation. We'll get on the phones having to meet at least once a day. I'll spend 30 minutes answering their questions about the [inaudible] and, and, you know, they understand that I have a company that sets up all season and at the end of the thing they're just like. So I should just use legal zoom, right? It's like what the hell is going on? Because I, I charge the same price as legal zoom. I have obviously demonstrated value. Um, that's more valuable than legals in whatever bill to give you.
So I've worked in the same building that [inaudible] was in. It's one of the reasons I started my llc business. Here's what legal zoom is like on the inside. Legal Zoom has a hell of a brand. Um, and, and what they do, there's nothing necessarily wrong with what they do, but all bay, essentially all they have is just a website with a call center and all the, all the service that they provide is, is just, uh, a website. That's it. So, I mean, that's fine. I mean, I have a website as well where you can set up a sees. It's just a form. It's just filling out a form, but it's, do you know what to put in the blanks properly, you know, do you know what's right for what type of business you're in? And obviously you don't like it. There's no question that you don't.
So anyway, I worked at a call center when I was a kid for. I worked at several different, a telemarketing jobs. I worked one where it was like vacation rentals sales where you're just like straight cold calling people and basically telling them like, hey, you come to this timeshare thing and you can get two free tickets on a cruise or whatever, you know, just some bs that the company it would have you do. And it's just kind of crafty salesmanship. I wasn't great at that. Um, I wasn't the worst but I wasn't the best friend of mine that I went to high school with really was the best, like keep rocking it up in the company and for all I know he like runs that company now. Um, but it was a bunch of kids working there. Like the oldest person there was probably like 30 and that's the guy who was running [inaudible] to people who are underneath them. The rest of the people there on average work anywhere from 15 years old to 22 years old or something. And it paid like
for a 15 year. It was like, at that time you gotta remember, this is like 20 years ago, it probably paid like 10 bucks an hour or something, which was double what any you could get anywhere else, uh, as before you're 18 years old, you know, like working at minimum wage because you couldn't wait tables really or anything when you deliver pizzas until you have a driver's license. I didn't have a driver's license yet until I was 16. So, um, yeah, there wasn't, like, it was a great job for that. But I'm telling you what, I worked in the same building as legal zoom I worked at, I was working for a
reviewing documents for a little, a big lawsuit involving pharmaceutical companies. That's basically all I can say about that. Anyway, it was a big space that was rented cars. There were millions of documents that had to be going, you know, people had to go through, um, and a bunch of attorneys worked on this job regardless. There wasn't like a big deal when we were doing. It was kind of like a crappy job as well as right after I got barred. But a legal zoom was in the same building. This was an Austin, and this was like probably two years ago. The people who worked at legal zoom, all good people of Austin, nothing wrong with Boston and nothing wrong with like hipster people, but they were like the same type of people that worked in the call center when I was a kid. I'm sure they don't have 16 year olds working there.
They're like, you probably had to be 18, but that was probably the only requirement for working at legal zoom is that you're 18 years old. It's not like you have to have any expertise. They understand the yellow probably maybe a tiny bit better than you do. Which is to say if, if you're, if you're reaching out to me about little, you probably don't understand them. That's fine. You don't need to understand them. That's the point of somebody like me. But if you're, if you're having somebody set up your llc, it doesn't make sense to, to hire some, a company that that's what they do just because they have a great brand. Um, and I don't hate legal zoom, but I do, I am motivated by what I saw there to say like this isn't a good solution for business owners. Like they do a lot of things that are convenient and that are good and that's fine, but the solution that they're providing for business owners when it comes to [inaudible] specifically is a sub-par and overpriced for what you're getting.
Really. You should be able to pay the whole thing for what they give you for like 20 bucks because that's about the value that they provide. When I look at it, I mean they have a very nice website and that's fine. But uh, and there's nothing wrong with that. And there's, there's hate them because they're a competitor. I don't hate them really at all. But I hate that people think that they're the gold standard of a, creating a business when really they're like the garage sale version of creating business. And that's, I, you know, I want to compete with them. And eventually. So if you follow Gary, Gary v, like one of the things he wants to do that he knows he's never going to do is buy the jets. Like that's like his goal that drives him forward and like all of his businesses, it's like he wants to make billions, billions of dollars.
We can buy the jets. If you followed a real close, you've heard him say like he knows he's never going to buy the jets. He knows that's never going to happen. That would ruin the fantasy and he doesn't really actually want to buy the jets. But that's just a way of showing how motivated and driven he is. Well, I want my company, I want to. I want to have a company that as far as the [inaudible] are concerned, I don't want to do wills and all the other forms and stuff that legal zoom does. Like I don't want to provide like cheap divorce options for people, but I do want to be the gold standard for [inaudible]. I want to knock them off the pedals pedastool for creating more [inaudible] for more entrepreneurs. Legal Zoom. Like, that's my goal with my company and I know I'm not even nearly there and probably will never get close to being there because they're billion dollar companies not owned by like a bunch of attorneys are something that are driven to help people and provide legal solutions.
It's owned by a billionaire investors. That's who owns legals and that's why that's what's driving that forward and that's why they, you see their ads everywhere because there's some really smart business people behind legal zoom, but their purpose is just to drive a lot of traffic and make a lot of money and basically the garage sale version of like legal documents and legal help. Um, and more power to have them, you know, that's fun. But if, if I have anything to say about it, I'm going to knock them off as far as helping people and provide a, an actual decent solution for entrepreneurs when it comes to understanding a little c and getting, getting their llc set up quickly and cheaply. Like I can set it up at the same price twice as fast and twice as accurately. And you know, maybe I don't provide like a stupid little binder that they provide that. So just a dust collector piece of garbage that just doesn't serve any purpose is perceived value. There's no value to it. Um, but I don't provide that because it's unnecessary. There's no reason for it. Just branding is just branding and that's what they're good at. Anyway. That's my driving force of my lc business. That's the big overall goal of [inaudible] business. Legal Zoom is like the jets, you know, for me, I want to conquer them and take them down as far as being a bigger force in the LLC business.
Hey guys, thank you so much for listening. I really, really appreciate everybody tuning in and all the great feedback I'm getting about the podcast and I'm going to keep it up and I just wanted to say thank you. Welcome to the entrepreneur like you with business attorney and entrepreneur chance reynolds, a daily podcast that brings you the best legal tips, marketing strategies and storytelling tactics that will help you grow your business the right way. So if
you've been following me for the past two weeks, are following this podcast for the fest past couple of weeks. I've been on a really huge personal brand push and one of the things that I've been doing really the main thing that I've been doing is just pushing stuff through my actual personal facebook profile, not through a business page, not through a public figure page, just through my actual personal profile. And um, it's had amazing results. I mean the results I'm making twice as many, 10 times as many connections. So I have 10 times at least 10 times more people reaching out to me, um, you know, potential leads and I'm closing twice as many. I'm thinking it's because I'm reaching more people for one. So they're unreachable more people and they're, they're able to kind of go through that know, like, and trust process a little bit quicker when you're doing things for your personal profile instead of a business page, there may be something to the fact that if you're going through your personal page and you're providing value through your personal page that you are putting yourself out there a bit more and people may be less skeptical of what you're doing and what you're selling.
So definitely going to keep doing that. I did not do a facebook live yesterday just because personal stuff like my kid's been sick and then I got slammed with elsie stuff and I wanted to just focus on getting those little cs, you know, done. And I had a bunch of phone appointments and then at the end of the day I was just like, you know, if I do a facebook live it's going to be half assed and I don't want to do that. I'd rather just not do one. So I knew I was going to do one every week. I mean every day this week. Missed one yesterday, but the previous one that I did with leslie black went so well that if you listened to the podcast yesterday, that's what I used as the podcast. Um, people that never are not even really interested in business reached out to me about, about that facebook live and it had another do with me.
Leslie is just a pro and a, it was her first facebook live but she killed in dish mainly just because she's so knowledgeable. It's not like you have to be a great performer or something to be on facebook live, but if you have a grasp on what you're talking about, what she sure as hell did, um, then there's no reason not to do it. And she talked really broadly about stuff. We were talking a little bit afterwards and about just kind of future topics. And I said you could really drill that down into like 10 different facebook lives because she talked about everything. She, you know, not everything she knows, but the big time problems that, that her clients have. And that's so super helpful because that does the same problems that everybody has. When it comes to bookkeeping and finances and getting everything straight and what's the first step to take and then a little bit more of the advanced stuff, you know, after you take those first couple of steps down the road, how are you going to save money on taxes and just all of that.
So it was great. I wish her the best of luck with she's going to be launching a course. I think she's going to have a massive, massively valuable course. You never know who's going to buy what. But if I was a betting man, I would be betting that she's going to have a pretty successful launch on that course just because her content is so. It's real, it's actually accurate and it's good. And so really enjoyed that. We're going to be hopefully working together a lot more. So in the process of building out my personal brand, using my facebook as successful as it's been, I, I've made a mistake. Um, there's one thing that if I could go back and do differently, I would. And it may be that there's just some setting in facebook messenger that I'm unaware of. So every time I'm connecting with all these people, so I'm not even sure where I'm at.
I'm probably at about. I'm definitely over 3000 friends now. So I've gone up, you know, 2,500 people in a week. And every time those people reached out to me by messenger, I thought facebook messenger would be a great place to, to interact with everybody. And I talked about this last week. I made my first deal all the way through facebook, you know, like meeting somebody on facebook, exchanging messages, making a phone call through facebook messenger and sending my payment link through facebook messenger. And that worked. And I've done a couple more like that. It's not the only now I've done two or three deals like that, um, in the past week since then. But every time I connect with one of these new people in Messenger, I get a notification that says like, you know, you're connected with this person in a messenger. And I used to love that because I would go through those and do, does a message or voice message drops [inaudible] and personally reach out to each person.
But as I've been growing this thing like so quick, it's just not reasonable for me to send [inaudible] 500 [inaudible], which is just a little recording voice recording, introducing myself to people. Um, it's just not reasonable. So when people reach out to me, I respond, I try to, but for the most part there's too many people. So here's where the mistake comes in. It's, I talked with people on there and I just was basically assuming I could use that kind of as a crm on its own. I have hubspot, so I use that as my crm, meaning I, I put the customer name and information in there, phone number, email, and it keeps track of when you've had contact with them. And I just thought messengers good enough to do that on, on its own. And if you have 500 people in messenger, that's fine. But when you're adding 2000 people, stuff gets lost.
I can't even find like to have the conversations with the people that I pretty sure that if I would just follow it up with them, I would be able to make a sale. I can't even find them in my messenger and I, it's just, I've talked to so many people I can't remember. So I made a mistake. It costs me money, costs me sales. So if you, if you are doing, you know, if you're using facebook to build your personal brand, you're growing at huge real quick. Just don't get lazy on that. It was just laziness on my part. I just thought I don't need to. I don't like to take this stuff done in hubspot. It's all right here in messenger and in facebook messenger every day. So I'll, I'll clearly see this. Not expecting that a thousand, they're going to be a thousand messages between, um, the time that I talked to him at the time I wanted to follow up.
So two people probably lost sales or at least lost credibility with those people because they're just like, I was like, yes, I'll follow up. And even though both of them were not like right now, they were like, you know, let us know and we're pretty interested and all I needed to do was just follow up and say, Hey, do you feel comfortable? You know what we talked about? Here's how you can reach out to you so you can make payment. If you're ready to get started, that's it. And probably at least one of those would have closed and that would've been several hundred more dollars than money in perpetuity. But lesson learned, when you lose a deal because of a mistake, you better not make that mistake twice because you keep making that mistake. You'll be out of business and follow up is really where the money's at.
Referrals are big cause you generally, those people come to you pre-sold. A cold traffic is really important if you're driving paid traffic, but if you're a following up with people, there is just no reason to even be in business because why waste all your time trying to convert cold leads. When you have somebody that's warm and already you've already actually spoken to on the phone and walk and provided them value, so I made a mistake lesson learned. Hopefully you don't make that same mistake, so if you're growing your personal brand on your facebook, if there's some setting in facebook messenger that I'm unaware of, I'm going to look into that today and see if I can get that turned off, get that feature turned off where it notifies me and puts a message in my actual messenger stating, you know, you've connected with this person.
If I can turn that off, I will and I'll let you know about that tomorrow if possible, but if you can't do that, just make a spreadsheet. If you don't have a crm, just make an actual spreadsheet on google sheets and just put the person's name in the time you talk to them in the day you want to follow up with them. That's all a crm does. That's all it does. You could probably set up a notification in there to using some sort of automation tool like Zapier, but I'm not going to go that far either way. Have a great day. Don't make the same mistakes I make whoever everybody is closing some deals today. Hey guys. Thank you so much for listening. I really, really appreciate everybody tuning in and all the great feedback
I'm getting about the podcast, so I'm going to keep it up and I just wanted to say thank you. Also if you want to figure out the three ways that most entrepreneurs are getting themselves sued, you can head over to llc, freedom dot [inaudible] slash get sued. I have a little freebie there that kind of outlines the three major ways that people are getting sued and how they can easily be avoided. So hop over to llc freedom.com/gets sued and picked that up today.

Welcome to the entrepreneur like you with business attorney and entrepreneur chance reynolds, a daily podcast that brings you the best legal tips, marketing strategies and storytelling tactics that will help you grow your business the right way. All right guys, that is Tuesday morning,
massive day yesterday. Just like busy end to end, which I really enjoy that things I did last week and then I did over the weekend, really pushed into this week and you know, my day filled up really quick and it looks like my week is filling up really quick and I like that. The one problem I do have is that I'm working so much inside my business that it's hard to work on the things out, you know, work on my business and I don't know if you've heard that before, but a lot. One of the goals as an entrepreneur, as a business owner should be that you work on your business and not in your business. I mean, of course that doesn't go for every single niche and every single business on earth, but for most businesses, that's the. The only way you're going to be able to really scale and grow your business if you can find a way to systematize and, uh, you know, replace yourself inside of the business, either systems or people or both and you can work on kind of being the rainmaker and bringing in new ideas and new clients and getting your face out there and being the personal ambassador basically for your brand and for your company.
So I worry about that. So I'm still going to try to do a facebook live every day and work on trying to automate a few more systems. But one of the mistakes I made early on when I started getting into, into online business and launching businesses is that I would try to systematize and automate my processes too quickly. And that can be as big of a problem as not having any symptoms at all. Because, um, if you haven't done the sit down face to face stuff. And I mean that like face to face. Just being that you're taking the client through the transaction from beginning to end. Meaning you're doing the marketing, you're doing, they're coming in and you're doing the, the, you know, the inbound answering calls, answering the emails and figuring out what the problems are and solving those problems and then you know, closing and then putting them through the sales process and then even doing the follow-up where there are glitches and corrections that have to be made because most businesses are going to be perfect right out of the gate.
If you haven't done all that stuff, it's really, really hard to automate it and systematize it and most businesses are pretty unique unless you just have like an info product or something that's really super replicatable and really common. You're going to have unique things in your business and I know you shouldn't reinvent the wheel, but a hearing someone talk about automating and then I actually automating is not the same thing, so you have to kind of go through that at least a little bit before you can train someone else to do it or pre-configured out what the real common path is going to be for each client. So that's the mistake I made in a couple of businesses and I did not make that with my llc business and I'm really kind of ready to start systematizing a little bit more, but I'm not really ready to hire someone.
I have a virtual assistant, which a Max Maxwell, this guy that I follow that that's pretty damn smart and popular in the real estate investment niche. Talks about his, his [inaudible] and like you really shouldn't even call them vas are just employees that are remote. They're just remote employees. And I used, gosh, I can't remember which company it is that I used to find. My va and va is pretty good, um, handles most of the stuff with my podcast and I'm pretty sure it's mostly just like automated stuff that he set up. But that's all good. If he can figure out a way to do his job more quickly, that's, it's still efficient and still productive, then I'm a hundred percent behind that. So I have that, but he's not somebody that I have trained to work inside of my llc business so much as helping me with my social media stuff.
And branding and marketing and maybe even building some funnels here and there, things like that. So I have someone like that, a couple hundred bucks a month, like nothing crazy, maybe 10 hours a week. And probably that's what I pay for it. And really he only works probably four hours a week or something, I'm not sure. But um, that's one thing having somebody actually work inside your business, like dealing with your clients is, it's harder to trust somebody else with that because that's like the lifeblood of your business and you don't want somebody. It's just hard to let go of that. It's hard to not have a hand in each customer that comes through your business in the beginning. At least it is for me. So I'm going to be working on that. Definitely. You know, before this summer I want to have somebody in at least, uh, that's at least taking incoming calls and, and taking incoming emails and answering questions and at least pointing them to, you know, a frequently asked questions page.
And if they have to follow up beyond that, then they can send them over to me. But I need to be out like being the rainmaker, you know, bringing in new clients, doing interviews with people, you know, creating courses, all the things that I want to do to build my brand. I can't do that if I'm just like creating [inaudible] on the backside every day, like literally doing the paperwork and I could teach somebody how to do the paperwork pretty easily as long as they have the correct information of what an LLC is and what type of question, you know, as long as the people have been, have asked themselves a couple of questions and been able to answer a couple of really simple questions, I can easily train someone to do the actual paperwork that, that part's not really that hard. Um, so that's kind of what's going on with me.
I'm going to be doing an interview today hopefully with a leslie black who was an accountant and I spoke with for about an hour last week who's helped tons of entrepreneurs and business owners just get their businesses straight financially and making sure that. I think she, she said something I thought was really smart that people, when they come to attorneys and accountants, they have like a four problems. They want a, they're afraid of going to jail for fears, whether they're afraid of going to jail, they're afraid of getting sued, they're afraid of getting audited and they're, uh, they want to make sure that they're not overpaying on their taxes. I think those were the four fears that really rang true to me. I was like, yeah, that's a pretty good rundown of what people want to know. The four main areas that people want to know. So I'm really excited about that.
It's one of our first facebook live, so I think she's kind of nervous, but from our conversations she's really knowledgeable and uh, hopefully she'll, she'll be able to get over that fear and we'll have a good experience. But if that goes well, I'll probably pull that. I mean, if the audio is of good quality, I know the, the conversation will go well. If the audio is of good quality, I'll probably pull the audio on that and run that as the episode tomorrow. So tune in tomorrow for sure to hear that because that's probably if you have a fear of going to jail or getting audited and you want to pay very, you know, as the smallest amount that you legally can't on your taxes. This might be a beneficial podcast for you, but have you guys have a great day. Talk to you tomorrow.
Hey guys. Thank you so much for listening. I really, really appreciate everybody tuning in and all the great feedback I'm getting about the podcast, so I'm going to keep it up and I just wanted to say thank you. All right guys, it's Monday morning and I'm super excited about this week. I just of want to run down exactly what the goals of this week or kind of what I do on Mondays. Generally I'm just one, it's going to be a little bit different than a typical Monday just because I drove so much traffic last week all the free by the way. I spent no money driving traffic last week, so it just took a week, a recap of what I did last week as I opened up my facebook page completely and started going live for the first time straight on my actual profile and, and just using that to build my personal brand. So rather than using, you know, a, a page, you know, a public, uh, public figure page or business page or my group or all the other things I usually am doing to push my lives and then maybe putting some money behind it because the audience isn't that big.
What I did is I just started seeking out like-minded people on facebook, you know, looking at people that are commenting on specific posts in certain facebook groups that are relevant to me and my potential, you could call it Avatar, like the people I want to work with and real estate and as entrepreneurs like those are the two areas I focus on, so seeking out those people, actually friend requesting them, and then I'm accepting that maybe reaching out to them individually with a message. Just like saying hello, I'm. I do something called, what is it? Messenger voice message drops, mvp mds that a friend of mine, Caitlin beverage, a created that are, that are super, super effective. People really love that. It's, it's just reaching out with the, with the audio message through facebook messenger saying, hey, like really glad to connect with you on here.
Here's who I am, here's what I do. I'd love to help you. If I can help you in any way, let me know. Let's. Let's really connect on here. Something just real simple like that. Just letting them know, here's the, here's the solution I provide. If you, if you have a problem that fits this solution, let's connect and then maybe I can help you nuts. That's as simple as that and people really enjoy that, but this, this weekend was too many friend requests coming in and too many people accepting my friend requests to really make that reasonable. So the people that reached out to me, I reached out back to them and that's just kind of what I did, especially since it was the holiday weekend. It just wasn't going to happen either way. So that's kind of what I did last week and over the weekend and that's pushing into this week and I was on a lot of calls last week with people, you know,
curious to set up their [inaudible]. I closed some of those deals but some of them are still pending and I haven't closed him. So I'm going to reach back out and follow up with all those people today. That's going to be the first thing I'd do this morning. Then I'm going to do another facebook live teaching something today, uh, on my personal profile. I don't have any set time or anything that's not really scheduled. I don't even know what I'm going to talk about yet. Um, it'd be great if I did kind of like a q and a, but I don't think I'm just going to schedule a [inaudible] quite yet. I might set something for that for Friday. So the big, the big thing to do on Monday is to follow up with everyone who I didn't close that I actually spoke with last week and didn't close.
Um, that's, that's the main thing I want to do this. Whereas the big domino that I'm chasing after, because those people already know me, they obviously like something that I've done and they trust me. So I need to reach back out and just make sure, hey look, we talked about this. Here's the, you know, the prices that we discussed. Let's, let's wrap this thing up. If you're ready to move forward. Sometimes when I have to reach out to people 10 times before they get back to you, but eventually you want to keep yourself, you know, in, in mind for them. So that's a, that's something that's a big goal for today. I'm going to keep moving forward with my personal branding. I'm going to reach out to the people that expressed interest in working with me, but that didn't pull the trigger all the way and see if we can close those deals and um, you know, provide value to those people and I'm setting up some interviews.
So through the course of just providing value last week with um, you know, driving traffic to my personal facebook profile, I had to meet at a meeting last week where I set up a potential interview that I'm going to do tomorrow that I'm going to interview somebody. I think on Thursday I'm doing an interview with, with like a tax strategist to financial planners slash tax strategist and um, I need to kind of investigate what, what the deal is with that business and what, what exactly what that guy does because I don't really know. I agreed to it just because that's potentially for just providing more value. That's how I look at. If there's a way I can reach more people, that means I can help more people, that means I can grow my business. That means that everything is moving forward with my business. So definitely going to do that.
And um, yeah, so that's at least two groups of people that I'll be reaching this week to new interviews. I love to interview people. Awesome way to just meet and network with people is to interview them. So if, if there's somebody that you want to reach out to you that you'd like to work with or just offer to interview them on your, on your personal facebook profiles or adding some friends so you can say, look, there's reach will reach at least two, 300 people and that's worth 20, 30 minutes of your time. And that's, you know, that, that's a great way to do it. You could also always download. People
don't think you can download facebook live videos. You can and if you need to know how to do that, just reach out to me a chance at LLC, freedom dot comm. I will, uh, create a little tutorial on how to do that. But you can download facebook live videos that, you know, if they're your videos, you don't need some specific tool to do it. You can do it right from your page. It's super easy. Um, it's just a little two step thing you have to do either way. That's the big stuff going on with me today. That's kind of the grand scheme is to continue more personal branding this week, make sure I'm doing prep for those interviews and there's a third possible interview that's going to go go on. I'm not sure if that's going to be this week, but I'm going to be possibly going live to someone else's group.
Um, that has like a niche business group and they need to know about, uh, what was it, I talked with this guy last night, what might they want to know? Oh, like how to make guarantees for their products, uh, without, you know, landing in jail like that, like getting fined by the federal, the FTC, the federal trade commission who regulates those sorts of things. So maybe like prepping a little bit for that. So anyway, those are the things that I'm doing this week. Hope everybody has a great week. I'm going to definitely be talking more real estate investing under this. Didn't have anything to do with real estate investing, but the weekend was all about people filing in about the [inaudible] and those are relevant to a real estate investing as well, but I want to do some more step by step stuff as well as I'm moving through that, but it's just all [inaudible] right now. So sorry about that. For any investor investing, seeking listeners, either way, talk to you guys tomorrow. Have a great Monday.
