Welcome to entrepreneur like you with business attorney and entrepreneur Chance Reynolds, a daily podcast that brings you the best legal tips, marketing strategies and storytelling tactics that will help you grow your business the right way.
Guys, it was a big week for my llc business mainly because of facebook and free traffic that I drove to my personal profile page. Really super excited about the personal branding stuff that I started building this week just because I had no clue. Such a simple little tweak was going to provide me so much business. It was just, um, so let's recap exactly what happened. So on Monday, I purchased like a $300 course from a guy named Jordan stanley pain. As I talked about it here a million times. I'm constantly taking new courses and um, this course was supposed to be about real estate and essentially it is about real estate. It's tactics to kind of build up your personal brand within a local community for real estate investing cause because that's something that I'm super interested in. But what I actually got from the course, um, was a simple trick.
The most valuable thing I got, at least in the beginning that I could immediately put into action was a simple trick of using your facebook profile rather than a business page to generate traffic. And so the suggestion on the, the course was Max out your friends, your friends will max out at 5,000, start making an effort to Max out your friends on facebook and as you're doing that, start telling your personal story, your personal branding story on your facebook profile as you do that through youtube, podcasting and then facebook lives and things. It doesn't actually talk about facebook live, but, um, I know that this guy uses facebook live to do it for himself. So I kind of looked at what he does, weather then, what he says, and started implementing it just basically by just from requesting a ton of people in the local area as well as in the entrepreneur space.
So I was, uh, just requesting so many people. I've probably started with like about five or 600 friends. Um, and then now it's that, you know, I've gained well over a thousand. It's probably closer to 2000 then I probably have three or 400 friend requests pending as well. So when you start questioning a lot of people, you'll get a lot of friend requests, a lot of them are kind of like spammy bots. I'm on facebook and they'll just ask you to like some page of some scantily clad woman. Uh, but I don't know. It's kind of, it's very strange. I don't know what, what they're getting out of that, like where they're pushing, where they're getting money out of that on the back end. But you get a lot of those when you start building up your friends list. So, you know, I started doing that.
I did, I did some facebook live stuff on [inaudible] specifically and, and the, the best practices. So just providing like super free valuable information, which is something you hear everywhere. It's not like Georgia Stanley pain, um, created that. And he didn't even really talk about creating free content as much as he talked about, uh, just networking with people and like meeting all the people in your local area. I mean, he goes a lot more in depth. This is, I'm not really doing him complete justice on his plan, but I'm just telling you what I've done with it so far, so he suggests, you know, going out and, and meeting with all the local players in real estate. And so rather than doing that, I just went to um, or I haven't done that yet. I plan on doing that. But how I started was just by posting in some facebook groups, I'm just dropping value about the LLC, like talking about, look, I'm an attorney here, some bad information about [inaudible] in every group.
And then I just laid it out like don't, don't create an LLC and another state. Here's why, um, why you when you should start an LLC, here's why, you know, because these are super common question. So I answered them and that's really valuable for people because they don't know and they're afraid to like reach out to an attorney and there's so much conflicting information in the groups. And, and if you try to just read blogs, it's like confusing to people. So when you can provide just some sort of expertise on an area like that, it's really, really helpful. So I started doing that. You know, I've always done that. I've just talked about that forever. That's one of the main ways that I drive traffic. What I haven't done is drive them to my personal profile and then you know, become friends with them on facebook and then provide value through my actual personal facebook page.
It's hard to do that because like your friends and family are on there and you just assume you can do that through like a pro, like a business page or something. But getting over that is a big deal. Once you can get over that, you will see your, you were a messenger, will fill up with people when they see that you're a real actual person, they'll know, like, and trust you a lot more quickly. And those are the three keys to doing business with people and you know, providing them value, they see that you have something that's a credible so that you've already established that. Then when they go to your personal profile, they see that you're dropping facebook lives there, um, on the s on a similar topic or that, that's helpful to them so they, they know you now they may not like you but they trust you and then once you get them on messenger and then that's how you can get them to either like you and not everybody's going to like you.
Some people will try to argue with you, some people that don't know anything or trying to tell you that you don't know anything and that's frustrating, but, um, that's just the nature of the Internet. So there will be haters, but you got to just delete them as friends. Once they start hating on you. It's not a big deal. And your facebook feed will not become like a fun place for you to be anymore. When you do this, that's not going to be a place where you hang out to scroll through and look at your friends to pictures. There are ways that you can kind of create lists within facebook. So just google friendliness and how to create them. And you can only view those, those lists within your facebook feed if you want it to do that, but I suggest just letting go of that part of your life and realizing that if you're going to be an entrepreneur, especially if you're going to be an online entrepreneur, facebook, your facebook feed just isn't going to be like that.
It's just not like you could just use your facebook for, to grow your business, not to necessarily just be friends with, with your old friends from high school or whatever using facebook for. So I wake up this morning and it's, you know, it's right now, it's 5:30. I wake up about 4:30 this morning unfortunately, and look at my facebook inbox in my gmail account. And all the work I've done for the past two weeks has really paid off today. I'm probably going to make a couple thousand dollars. I know it's not millions of dollars that I'm making yet. Um, I don't have a thousand dollar info product that I can sell yet. Uh, but I'm getting there. I'm getting pretty close to getting to the point where if I have this personal branding stuff really takes off, if I can make, you know, a couple thousand dollars a week just on my [inaudible] business and then my real estate business gets going and then I have a thousand dollar thousand dollar or more course to get going.
It's not that far away from really kind of hitting that dream spot of being an Internet entrepreneur and maybe that will never happen. Maybe the course proportion never works. Maybe the real estate portion never works, but this llc portion is definitely working. There's no question that this thing is growing and it's great going to create a passive income eventually. It's not passive yet, but every time I sell an l will see and sign up somebody as a registered agent client. I'm getting residual income each year from that, that sale and I'm providing them, you know, a service for sure, but it's very passive. That portion is very, very passive up front. It's not passive. You got to fill your pipeline, you've got to build your business. You have to do all those things. But uh, just doing these small little personal branding tweaks can really help explode your pipeline and you gotta work for it.
It's not just something that's just gonna happen on its own and eventually, you know, I wanna outsource some of this going through my inbox and driving people to appointments and to the phone and all that. I'll have somebody else do that, some sort of assistant do that. But for now I just want to do all of it myself because I need to learn how to get them on the phone, close them. I'm going to close, you know, several hundred people for bringing somebody else in and I'm, I'm getting, they're getting a lot closer. So awesome week. I'm just going to be a busy weekend. It's going to be a busy week next week, but that's good. That's what you want in your business. So I hope everybody else has had as good of a week as I did.
Yeah.
I would just say start implementing this stuff right now. Right now. The step you can take is to
OK
use your, your personal facebook profile as a way to grow your business by expanding your friends, by strategically friend, requesting people that are in the niche that you want to reach and do it, you know, a couple of hundred people every day. That's what I suggest. That's step one. So if you can't do that, you're gonna. You're going to struggle to grow your business. If you can't do that, you're going to still struggle to grow your business because business is hard, but it'll be a lot easier either way. Everybody have a great weekend. Talk to you next week.
Yeah.

Welcome to the entrepreneur like you with business attorney and entrepreneur chance reynolds, a daily podcast that brings you the best legal tips, marketing strategies and storytelling tactics that will help you grow your business the right way.
I'm still building my facebook page, still doing the facebook lives and telling my story on facebook. Kind of has the course I'm teaching is helping me build my personal brand. I'm so two days of following Jordan pain. Is it Jordan Stanley paid? Yeah, Jordan Stanley pains, um, personal branding, little course on real estate investment and really applying it to the business that I already have a job while I'm getting ready to ramp up my real estate investment stuff and I already made sales through my personal facebook page two sales per day. I'm using the little hack that, that he suggested. It's not even a hack really. That's just about getting on your personal facebook page, building your friend list up as big as you possibly can, just growing your audience through your personal facebook profile. I keep saying facebook page through your personal facebook profile and I'm growing that as large as you can. Doing the facebook lives, reaching out, establishing yourself as kind of a trustworthy expert in whatever field it is that you're in. His specific niche is real estate investment and I'm getting into real estate investment as that talks about on here every single day for about the past, probably [inaudible] one day. It's probably like three weeks. I've been talking about doing it on here, maybe even longer, but um, it's not necessarily taking longer to get into it. It's just
building a business takes time so you have to be patient. I wish I was out like wheeling and dealing and actually closing deals already, but I'm making progress so it's frustrating. Three weeks ago I would've thought I'd be further than I am, but I've built enough businesses to know you gotta be patient. Like if you're trying to do something for long term, you know, wealth accumulation, which is what real estate investment is, what's long term building than a, you really have to understand that that's not gonna happen overnight, at least for most people. Some people it will, but most of the time there's a long string of failures behind that. So anyway, just to kind of recap what I've done this week, it's Thursday now. I got this course I think only on Tuesday and I'm one of the first steps is to build up your facebook page to the maximum amount of, of her facebook profile.
Jesus, I'm never going to get that right. I'm just going to keep saying facebook page. When I say facebook page, I mean I'm in profile. Build your profile out to 5,000 friends as quickly as you can. All while you know con start for the, you to start a podcast. Obviously I already have a podcast, um, while telling your story through a podcast or some other vehicle like youtube or something like that. So he kind of suggest doing all that at the same time. I'm using facebook live instead of youtube right now, but eventually I will just download those facebook live videos and put them on youtube or maybe even do some youtube live videos. I just have no audience on youtube right now. I haven't cracked the code on how to build a youtube audience yet. I wish I knew a little bit more about how to do it, but I understand you to understand how to get the videos to understand how to do the thumbnail images.
All of that stuff is like super easy and I understand how to build the stuff into play lists. It's just getting people over there. Um, that's a problem. But after I get my facebook page larger, probably it will be a little bit easier. I'll do some exclusive youtube live streams or something, but they come up to like 1500 friends on facebook. I did a kind of hit a snag yesterday. So I grew my friends list so big that I'm facebook, like shut my close my account, made me change my profile, made me change my password. And um, I was afraid like, oh no, there are some things that they thought I was using some sort of third party platform. They thought my facebook had been hacked essentially is what it is that maybe review everything that I had done, like posts and a friend requests and pictures that had been posted in any comments I had posted and look at them.
And OK them and make sure that nobody else was posting for me. Um, so yeah, that was, I was like, oh no, are ready like day one as usual. I took it too far and they like shut me down. But, but after that it's been all good and smooth sailing and people are reaching out and I only need to make, you know, if I was to make just one sale per day, um, you know, seven days a week, that would be a long term, extremely successful business for me right now. I'm not making one sale a damn making, you know, several sales a week. But I'm not averaging one sale per day just yet. And um, since I've been doing this, I'm averaging a sale per day. I mean it's only been two days, but uh, I'm averaging a little bit more than that and I have one set up today that I think I'm going to close the deal on.
So I'm getting a lot better at kind of driving people from to my, to my facebook messenger and then driving them there to get on the phone and then closing them. And I was having people kind of fill out a form first and then reviewing the form and then asking for payment, but I was hitting snags where I was spending a lot of time helping people and then when it came time to get collect payment, they weren't pulling the trigger, so now they have to pay before they do anything else. And I switched to that last week after I got burned, like twice, like spending a lot of time helping people. And then I'm, I'm guessing they just went elsewhere, which is fine. Um, that's their prerogative. But that's my mistake. Like I need to collect payment first. So the funnel that I have going right now is driving people, you know, targeting strategically targeting people on my facebook profile friend requesting, you know, entrepreneurs, whether they're real estate investors or online entrepreneurs targeting those people, providing facebook alive value to them.
I'm showing them that I am an expert in the [inaudible] arena, which I am. I'm not faking it until I make it or anything like that. I actually am very experienced when it comes to solving that specific problem. Showing them that I'm doing that, driving them to messenger from messenger, getting them on the phone, or even using the phone option, the call option inside of facebook messenger, you didn't have to get on the phone, you can actually call them. I prefer to call them on the phone. That way I have their number and I could text them if I need to and a closing them on the phone. It's, it's as simple as that. That's a very simple funnel. But, uh, you only need to, you don't need to drive a million people through there. If you have a product that is a least $100 at least where you're making like $100 profit per transaction, um, it's doable to do all that without hiring a staff or anything like that.
And if it gets any more crowded than it is right now, I will hire a, you know, a, a freelancer to help me out when it gets too busy. You can get legal freelancers online, you can hire online, um, legal assistance and things like that. Paralegals as well. So there's tons of stuff you can do on upwork. Also, I am building a piece of software, most likely I'm going to do that. If I make a sale today, I will take that money and build a piece of software to help people automate the, a profile facebook profile, friend requests, growth kind of hack. So that's something that's on the horizon. I'm probably going to sell that from like 19 bucks. Um, it's just, I, I have kind of a piece of equipment that helps me do that, but I don't want to suggest it because it's not, it's not fully formed.
Um, what I use, and I'm, I suspect that's what got my profile flagged either way. That's what's going on this week. I noticed this one's a little bit longer, but a check out my, uh, you can just search chance reynolds or llc freedom. Facebook [inaudible] slash [inaudible] freedom will take you to my business page if you need an LLC. Like I've said, I'm not faking it until I make it right now I'm doing the top the first. So yesterday on my, on my facebook live, I said I would do the first [inaudible] [inaudible] I got four, 1:47 and that includes the in and the and the operating agreement. Plus you have to pay your state fees. So 1:47 down from my normal price of two 97. I'm doing, I think I told one guy that he was going to be locked in at number six. So there's four spots left. People have locked up those other spots. There are four spots left. If you want to get an llc at 1:47, hit me up on messenger, hit me up at chance at LLC, freedom.com or facebook.com/llc freedom. Either one of those ways will work. Just fine. Look forward to talking to you guys. Hope you're having a great week. Hope that you are growing your business and just moving forward and you're able to
really use this facebook profile hack to have know to get just a couple of little wins. Just doesn't take that much for for small things to take place. You see all these gurus talking about getting, you know, chrome extensions on their computers to block them from being on facebook and I say just the opposite. You need to be spending more time on facebook if possible. Just if you're going to be on facebook, just be productive on facebook. That's it. That's all you gotta do. So that's what I'm learning. That's what's going on with me this week and I will talk to you guys tomorrow.
Hey guys, thank you so much for listening. I really, really appreciate everybody tuning in and all the great feedback I'm getting about the podcast. So I'm going to keep it up and I just wanted to say thank you all. So if you want to figure out the three ways that most entrepreneurs are getting themselves sued, you can head over to llc, freedom dot [inaudible] slash gets sued. Welcome to the entrepreneur like you with business attorney and entrepreneur chance reynolds, a daily podcast that brings you the best legal tips, marketing strategies and storytelling tactics that will help you grow your business though, right
audience up to 5,000 members. So how did I get to this? So I guess facebook, I knew that there was a limit on how many facebook friends you could have on your personal profile. Yesterday when I was doing the podcast, I kept saying your personal page. What I mean is your actual personal profile, not like a public figure page. So I'm, I'm walking through a course I mentioned yesterday that is talking about kind of some different types of marketing involved with real estate investors and rather than the traditional ways of marketing, which are, you know, going down to the courthouse, getting a list, cold calling that list, mailing to that list. I'm putting up flyers basically saying like we buy houses, things like that. This guy teaches that pretty similar to, to like a Gary v, v Vaynerchuk. Oh my gosh. I don't know why that name so hard for me to say to Gary v what he teaches, which is just build your personal brand and then you can kind of sell whatever you want on the backside of that.
And that's a similar thing to what this guy is teaching. And I, I imagine it's less popular because it's a lot more hands on, meaning his big takeaway from what I can gather so far. It's just, you know, build your network and leverage your network. It's like what you would learn, you know, in college when I had a professional communications class, I had a professor that kind of mentored me when I was at Texas State University, a professor sue Stewart. She taught professional communication. Everybody thought she was like this hard ass and she was. But ultimately it was one of the most fruitful courses that I took because the things that she taught our exactly dead on. Just everything that you see, everything that works in even marketing, um, as much as big time marketers want to say college is unnecessary. Maybe the courses that they take for the most part are unnecessary.
But the things I learned in this course are the exact same things that they're teaching, meaning build a network of like-minded people. I'm not necessarily use people as a means to an end. You don't want to objectify people and just not be providing them any value, but connect with people that you can help and that they can help you provide them value as much value as you can. And then when something comes their way that fits your niche or, or an opportunity for you, they'll remember you and they'll reciprocate because they're part of your network and you guys are just kind of, you know, buddies that similar to what Jordan Stanley pain, that's the guy who's, who teaches the course I'm taking right now. I'm pretty much done with the course, but I'm still implementing everything. So I'll go back through the course several times. That's kind of how I do these courses.
Um, I'll watch the whole course and then I'll go back and rewatch this stuff that, the action steps that I need. So, so, you know, this is a bit scattered back to exactly what I'm doing. I'm, I'm maxing out my personal profile with 5,000 friends and then from there, every person who friend requests you after that, we'll get a notification that says this person has reached, you know, their friends limit, you can follow them, you've automatically followed them, so then you'll gain more followers and then you'll push people over to do whatever you want them to do, like join groups or whatever. So it kind of is hard. I say it's hard because people don't want to broadcast. I do facebook lives and stuff. It's hard enough to do facebook lives just to, even in a group or something like that. But when you're doing it on your personal profile page, you never run in your family seeing it.
Everybody went to high school with just all these people that really ultimately I'm don't care what you're doing anyway. So it just doesn't. That's how I feel about it. It used to be really hard for me to do a facebook live, but anyway, so now that I have, I don't know, I think I gained a thousand friends, quote unquote friends on facebook the last 24 hours. Um, and I'll try to again another thousand today and I'll just keep gaining until I hit that [inaudible] mark. I'm going to start putting out content every day. Obviously I do this podcast every day, but, uh, and that's kind of something that I do for personal branding, just telling my story of, of what I'm going through to build this business, but I'm also going to start building out facebook live trainings that are specific to these people that I'm friend requesting. So I'm not just sending out friend requests just Willy Nilly to anybody that will accept them.
I'm going to targeted groups of people like in my area. So what I, what I'm trying to do is build up a huge network of people kind of in the dfw area that are like-minded. And um, probably it'll be like half real estate people and the other half like online entrepreneurs because those are the two markets that I serve. And those are the two. Those are the two markets that I'm in. So I can leverage my network both ways. Meaning I could, um, connect with people that I can help. And then they're also, when I need, when I need something, when I have a question, these are the same type of people that I would be reaching out to to help me. So it works both ways. So you have to have some kind of strategy surrounding how you're implementing this. So it's not just about building 5,000 friends, just so it looks like you have 5,000 friends.
The point of it is that you have 5,000 people on there that when you speak about something, people are going to be interested. It's the same. It's the exact same reason why you'd have a facebook group. It's the exact same reason, except it's a lot easier to get people to accept a friend request than it is to get them to join a facebook group. Trust me, getting people to join the facebook is not all that easy. Um, it's a lot more work than this and yes, it's more targeted and it's great to get them in a facebook group. But, uh, this is, this is much easier. So I think this is a great first step to build up trust with them. And that's kind of the point is that they'll see you on a daily basis doing facebook live posts and things like that, and they'll see your personal branding so they won't be so, such cold traffic when they come to you, there'll be more targeted, there'll be warmed up a little bit.
Um, and it's just, it's just a great way to do it. Side note before we end this, but facebook chatbots, possibly going away for a little while. So glad I didn't put all my eggs in that basket, but facebook chatbots, as big as they were. Some people that facebook has, obviously everyone knows involved in some lawsuits right now. And Chat bots, if you don't have that already connected to your facebook page, you know, you can't connect it to a personal profile. But if you don't already have it connected to your page, um, I don't think facebook is letting you connect new chat bots at this point. So don't disconnect your face, your facebook chat Bot a just side note. Either way, chatbots, I'm sure there'll be back, but they're going to regulate them heavily. Um, just because it's causing a lot of issues, there's a lot of issues with the facebook right now as far as th, they, they need to clean up their image when it comes to personal information.
And I think chat bots are, some people are thinking that they're a little bit intrusive, so didn't, didn't really see that coming, but that's the reason that you always build an email list and these people that you, that you see online that are just saying email is dead. Chatbots are so much better. Yes, chatbots were so much better. But now how's your Chat Bot looking as your business that's built on chatbots looking. If a, you can't use a chat bot and you haven't gathered any emails, so you're, you're promoting is going to be much, much harder. So email marketing, still the king for sure. Either way, everybody have a great Wednesday. I know I'm going to. I'm building out my friends to 5,000 people. I suggest you do the same. Get over the Hump, get over your fear of um, leveraging your personal facebook profile in order to build your business.
Because that's the only thing that you're really going to have control over and that's one of the things that this chat Bot situation shows you is that a professional pages, great, but facebook probably isn't going to come in and metal with your personal profile, so forget about, you know, just you're doing friendly networking. I'm on your facebook page and started thinking about it as a professional tool because that's really the only thing that you have complete control over. Hey guys, thank you so much for listening. I really, really appreciate everybody tuning in and all the great feedback I'm getting about the podcast, so I'm going to keep
it up and I just wanted to say thank you. Welcome to the entrepreneur like you with business attorney and entrepreneur chance reynolds, a daily podcast that brings you the best legal tips, marketing strategies and storytelling tactics that will help you grow your business the right way. All right, sorry. I took a few days off.
It's just been crazy busy and then, you know, people get sick and all of a sudden you realize it's like 10:30 AM and you didn't record a podcast and you have to go to work. So that's why it hasn't happened on Friday or yesterday. Either way. It's Tuesday. I'm here to talk about what happened last week when I went to meet with a title attorney, meet with a, a fix and flipper. And I went and looked at a house that, uh, that uh, this guy that I met with, the guy that I went to high school with that I know a little bit. I mean, I, I'm aware of we don't, we didn't really know each other that well, but we sat down and had lunch and he told me about his real estate journey. I told him about mine and we went and looked at a house that he bought that he's in the middle of a flipping and he's like fixing it up right now and kind of like one of those situations where he got into it and his had a contractor like screw them over and pick up and leave and he didn't really like the experience at all.
But um, a lot of lessons learned. I don't think he's going to let, you know, it's not like he's losing so much, he's going to completely be out of the game of real estate, but he definitely is set. He's a little bit ready to move on to doing more wholesaling rather than I'm doing a whole lot of actual fix and flips or buying holds just because of the issues that this one caused and the headaches at this one caused, plus it's 45 minutes away from his house and it's just a pain in the ass I think for him to deal with it. So that's one of the things about. And that's something Max Maxwell teaches, if you know who that is. Um, he only works in like I think three zip codes, the three zip codes closest to his house and dude makes plenty more than enough money.
You wouldn't really need more money than what he's making if you're doing wholesaling. I don't really see how you could make more money unless you're doing like virtual wholesaling or something. But uh, I don't really know that much about that so I'm going to talk about that. But there's something to be said for staying within certain zip codes and even if some great deal happens and it's 45 minutes away from your house, it may. I mean if you're wholesaling it, maybe it's worth it, but if you're gonna buy and hold it or fix and flip it, you really got to like make sure that you know what you're doing and you know, somebody in that area. But either way, I'm still just going deep on, on real estate investment, actually invested in a little course on how to do marketing for real estate investing a little bit better and it looks like it's going to be mostly about kind of personal branding and building up your personal brand so you don't have to do things like bandit signs.
I'm not opposed to any of that stuff at all. I didn't know that the direction that the course was to go, but uh, it was only like 200, $200 course and the guy who does it, his specialty isn't wholesaling, but his specialty is, um, I think he buys multifamily properties, like, you know, a duplexes, fourplexes, things like that. And he owns a whole lot of them and he doesn't really. He definitely knows what he's talking about. Um, I came across him because he is part of a group with the guy who wrote the book, if you can't wholesale after this, I've got nothing for you. I guess he might have co written the book or something. I'm not exactly sure what his involvement with that is, but the guy taught fleming is the author of that book, this guy and Tom Fleming or somehow in business together and that's how I came across him and came across his course and um, he's got a different style. He's got a different style. He's got a different idea about how to brand yourself and about branding in the real estate game. And I'm just, I don't know that that speaks to me because I understand.
Yeah,
don't understand a lot about branding, but I know, you know, I've studied a lot of branding. I haven't studied a lot about
guerrilla marketing stuff like bandit signs and things like that. And I worry about those things because I'm an attorney. If I do something that's potentially outside of like the, even if it's not like a, you know, a criminal offense, but if it's something that's fine and I have to report all that stuff to the bar, to the state bar and if I'm doing something repeatedly, I don't want to invest in something that I do. Once I get caught, I get fined not to report to the bar and then I have spent all this money on bandit signs. I can't use them again. Um, that's my worry with some of those guerrilla tactics, the cold calling and all of that. I definitely am interested in doing all of that if you have no idea what I'm talking about. Go back and listen to, you know, the last 10, 15 episodes I've done and I talk a lot about real estate investing and wholesaling and the tactics, the marketing tactics that are used and there's about four or five.
Um, but just to run down is basically you get a list of people, you get the phone numbers for the people on that list and then you just call them. That's it. You cold call them and you try to buy their houses for one reason or another. But yeah, foreclosure law firm with myself and my friend looks like it's probably going to happen soon. Hopefully I, we're having trouble like sitting down and talking because he works so much. Right now I'm in as a foreclosure litigation attorney that, uh, it's hard for us to sit down and we already knew it was going to be probably late April, early May before he was going to be able to get away and really plan his stuff anyway. So that's all moving forward. Everything's looking good this week. Feeling good, feeling like my, My d, my focus is really solid.
I'm going to do some networking this week. I'm gonna possibly launch another podcast that it's just going to be like a weekly interview show. I never did put the. I interviewed that title attorney last week on the, on the show on facebook live. I never did put that on here because the audio was not high enough quality for podcast, but if you want to check it out, I'm going to put her on youtube today. I'm LLC freedom.com/youtube and interviews on there. She was super duper helpful. I had a lot of fun talking with her. Rebecca Lynn Walker with her name and she's been doing a title stuff for, you know, 30 years I think. So either way, that's what's going on this week, hope everybody's motivated, having a great week and I'll let you know as I go through this course, how it progresses and it's just about the step one in this guy's courses, like maxing out your facebook page basically like hitting the 5,000 friend limit. And then uh, going from there, that's like step one. So I've been adding like the notifications on my facebook or just out of control, but as I've said, facebook is where I make my money. So anything to grow that, um, is good for me. So anyway, that's what I'm up to this week. Step one girl growing my facebook, my personal facebook page to 5,000 friends. Um, which is the Max. Either way, have a great week. Talk to you guys tomorrow.
Hey guys, thank you so much for listening. I really, really appreciate everybody tuning in and all the great feedback I'm getting about the podcast. Welcome to the entrepreneur like you with business attorney and entrepreneur chance reynolds, a daily podcast that brings you the best legal tips, marketing strategies and storytelling tactics that will help you grow your business the right way.
OK, so today is a pretty big day. I'm doing an interview with a title agent who's been a title agent for 30 or 40 years. I can't remember exactly, but excuse me, a voucher through where else? Facebook group. I'm just just trying to get a better grasp on exactly what the title processes. So I know a big knock that I have in that a lot of people have is that a lot of times you're searching for too much information before you're taking action. But, uh, I've already taken tons of action when it comes to understanding wholesaling and then actually doing wholesaling. So on top of interviewing a, the title attorney, that's more to help other people. Um, if I create a course I want to have come to the behind the scenes of what's going to happen with the title attorney in the course. Um, so I'm doing that this morning here in a couple of hours assuming that, that there's no issue and nobody gets too busy and backs out or anything like that.
And then after that I'm meeting with a fix and flipper who has experienced with at least buying one property to fix and flip and is looking for other properties. So I'm not sure if he does any wholesaling a, I know he doesn't buy any properties if this doesn't make any sense to you. So I, wholesaling is just a real estate. I've been talking about it on here a lot. Wholesaling is just getting real estate, two pieces of property under contract and then basically you're acting as a middleman for somebody who wants to buy and hold that property for whatever reason they may want to fix and flip it. They won't hold it and rent it out. They want to move into it. You never know. It doesn't really matter what they do do with it. It just matters that you're providing a solution to a, uh, a seller or someone who wants to sell their home.
Um, and they don't want to sell it for whatever reason, through a real estate agent, a lot of times that they don't want to have to fix up their house in order to sell it to a real estate agent. So that's where wholesale that comes in and they kind of have a junked out house or for whatever reason, they just going to sell it really quickly. They don't have time to wait. They don't want a way to possibly a year or even longer to put it on the what's called the [inaudible] meaning listed with an agent. And then an agent can find, you know, find somebody and get them full price, but the price they're going to pay for getting rid of it quickly is that, um, they're not going to sell it at full price. They're gonna have to sell it for, you know, 60, 70 percent, maybe even eighty percent of, of full value.
So then whoever buys it can do whatever they got to do with it. So the person who's buying that's taking more of a risk, so they're not going to pay 100 percent value on obviously why would they? Because if in a business you can't, you can't make a profit that way. So that's what wholesaling is, that's what I'm getting into right now. And then I think I'm gonna go with, with the guy that I'm meeting with today that um, I got to get in touch with me through facebook actually, um, and maybe knock on some foreclosure doors, like go to people's houses that are on the pre foreclosure list and knock on their door and figuring out what they're interested in selling their house and let them know kind of what the solutions are to foreclosure and if they are interested in trying to make them some sort of offer on the house and then find a buyer.
I, I'm not a hundred percent sure what's going to go on with that. But. So I'm meeting with that guy. He's going to take me over to his fix and flip and I'm just really going to ask questions and just keep my mouth shut because there's no question that, that he knows a lot more than I do because he's actually done deals and I'm just going to keep the mindset of just trying to learn from him and take advice from him and do whatever he tells me to do really. So. So definitely looking forward to that. Um, yesterday was, was pretty cool. I made my first sale, like closing somebody for an llc through facebook audio. So I've, I, this guy had messaged me a couple days ago. I told them my rates and a lot a lot of people will message me on facebook after they see posts in a group or something about a little cs.
And then I never hear from them again. So I had to. He had messaged me and asked my rates. I told him and he never got back to me and I'd forgotten to follow up with them. Then yesterday I'm about to walk into the office and there's this strange noise coming from my computer. That's clearly like a phone, but I've never heard it before. I look at it, somebody is this guy that I had spoken with calling me through facebook audio and so I answered, I don't even remember. I wasn't even able to look at the previous conversation so I couldn't even remember what we had discussed. Open it up and he's like asking questions. I'm just kind of coaching them through the process of what I do and what he needs to do and it turns out in Houston and he's extremely motivated to just get going, like almost impatient to just get off the phone and close them right there on the phone. Sent him, sent him the link within a couple seconds since he was in Texas. Already had the, the checkout page created, you know, the link where he can go and pay through my stripe link. Um, he paid and it all happened in the whole thing. Took like five minutes and that was just a really cool way to close somebody. I thought a hundred percent through facebook, like the whole funnel took place through facebook. I never even emailed them or anything.
Even the phone call was through facebook, so facebook super powerful made you know, 200 bucks on that. Um, for about five minutes of work. I know it's not thousands of dollars, but hey, $200 for four, five minutes of work. Not too bad. Anyway, that was cool. So I'm really looking forward to my interview today with a title attorney with, uh, the, the, the holder of the guy who fixes and flipped the fix and flipper and knocking on some doors possibly. And just making some new connections. Oh yeah. We're going to go to a title company as well. So go busiest day ever. It's going to be a really awesome day. So I'll probably have the interview with the title attorney as the episode tomorrow, but uh, make sure you go to Loc. Freedom Dot com. What does it know? It's facebook.com/ [inaudible] freedom at all. I'll be doing the video live there, so like that page and you can follow along with the live interview as I do it. Sorry, this is a little disjointed. I'm pretty sleepy this morning. It's like 5:00 AM. So just getting up, getting ready, I have to do a whole bunch that I take my son to zoo school this morning, which means it's an early morning. So, uh, hope everybody has a great day. Everybody closed some deals. Hope everybody grows their business.

To entrepreneur like you with business attorney and entrepreneur chance reynolds, a daily podcast that brings you the best legal tips, marketing strategies and storytelling tactics that will help you grow your business the right way. One of the tricks too, being
knowledgeable and then eventually potentially becoming known as an expert or at least to like a thought leader in an industry or in areas that you have to be able to reach out to other influencers and experts and learn what they learn. So you probably wouldn't. You start. You can't know everything. So for example, I'm going into real estate investing like I've talked about a million times on here and one of the things that I'm doing is kind of documenting every little piece of action that I'm taking. Whether it's perfect or imperfect because it might be valuable to someone else that's starting out to see exactly what I'm doing and maybe I'll package that into a course I've talked about. I'm trying to make one course per every two months this year. That's one of my goals and obviously if I'm working on real estate investment, that's going to be one of my courses.
So Russell Brunson talks about the difference which when you're, when you're creating a course, you need to think about documenting what you do, what you're doing rather than creating new content, so you just document what you're doing and then that's your content. You don't kind of have to think about creating new content. So if you're creating an ad, you just record the process of yourself creating an ad. If you're learning about something, you just talk about exactly what you're learning in a video and then that will be that step potentially in a course that you're going to create. So that's kind of what I'm doing right now. But there's so many moving pieces with the real estate investment that I don't know yet because I haven't done any deals yet that I need to bring in other people instead of, uh, just, I don't, I'm not an authority on like title insurance yet, for example.
So chain of title of a piece of real estate. I don't really know that much about it in all the real estate books and everything that you read. It's basically just like, you know, on that step it's like just go find a title attorney, which is just fine. But I think a lot of people are probably held up by the idea of they don't know what that process is going to be and there's not a lot that explains that. So I want to find out exactly what the steps are when someone goes into a title company and not just from the real estate investor side but from the title attorney in order, the title company, title agent, whatever you want to call them from their perspective. So I reached out and I'm going to interview a, uh, a lady who, she's in Florida so she's not actually in the same state as myself, but she's been doing title work and working for a company for 40 years.
I think maybe it was 30 years, a lot, a long damn time. And I'm going to interview her tomorrow and I'm going to, you know, ask her all the questions that I would want to know, like just out of curiosity, when a title comes into them, like what type of contract do they prefer? Once they get that contract, where does it go? Who looks at it? What's the process of clearing title to someone have to go down to the courthouse. If they do, how do they find out the information there? You know, all of that stuff. I think if you could just put some clarity on that. And I know for myself if that area was a little more clear, I'd be more the process of going out to get deals will be a little bit quicker. And so if, if nothing else, they don't provide clarity for myself and I love to interview people and sometimes it can be nerve wracking to do that.
So any opportunity I get to just get out and do that, I try to do it. And I've been saying, you know, interviewing is one of the biggest pieces of, of building an audience and that's part of the, my eighty 20, you know, the 20 percent of things that I do that present provide eighty percent of my results every time I do an interview like I and deals, like normally it's about llc stuff and uh, interviews and, and providing value in facebook groups are probably the two ways that I've gotten the most money into my business. So I really should be doing interviews and posting in facebook groups. Like every day I do the facebook group stuff like every day, but a interviews I'm doing hardly any right now and it's just such a great way to build your audience that, not that this person has any social media presence whatsoever, but she has a really.
Hopefully, I'm assuming she has a lot of knowledge in my mom. I guess I'll find out if she does or not. So super excited about that. But that's one way to learn something. Just interview somebody. And so you've got to really prepare for the interview by looking at what the PR process is that you want to find out that they know about, so that they need to know about some process that you want to learn about. And then you need to be able to ask the step-by-step questions and step by step questions are super easy. It's just what happens when somebody walks into your office. Do they need some piece of paper? What should they have done before they got there? What's going to happen after they leave? What's the turnaround time? You know, the WHO, what, when, where, why, and how. That's a good way to think about it.
You're just act like you're a journalist and that you're just, that you don't know anything and have them explain it to you. Like you're a third grader, that's the best way to learn things. And that's the best way to interview somebody, eh? So don't try to make yourself into the authority necessarily. I mean, if you know something, then you can chime in. But if you don't know anything, don't pretend to know something. So that's a big key to interviewing as well. Either way, that's how I supplement what I what I don't know to help people. Hey guys,
thank you so much for listening. I really, really appreciate everybody tuning in and all the great feedback I'm getting about the podcast. So I'm going to keep it up and I just wanted to say thank you. Also if you want to figure out the three ways that most entrepreneurs are getting themselves sued, you can head over to llc, freedom dot [inaudible] slash get sued. Welcome to entrepreneur like you with business attorney and entrepreneur chance reynolds, a daily podcast that brings you the best legal tips, marketing strategies and storytelling tactics that will help you grow your business the right way.
OK, so moving forward with real estate this week and launching that, all the things that are involved with that, I don't even want to say launching a business because it's kind of multiple businesses that it takes to really do this in a way where I think that we can utilize our skills. Um, and by our, I mean I, I'm partnering up, most likely it's not a hundred percent, but I'm most likely going to be partnering up with a, an or another attorney who does pre foreclosure litigation. So here's kind of the structure of what we're planning on doing, at least initially what it looks like we're going to be doing from like the 10,000 foot view. So we want to launch a real estate company. Obviously got the website up yesterday. It's a sell your house. Tarrant county.com was the first one that we're going to be launching just because I'm here.
And um, my business partner is going to be in Houston, so gonna launch that because there is no barrier to entry with that. Like that's launched essentially a, I've got all the leads. I've got 300 email addresses of potential pre-foreclosure and motivated sellers here in the dfw area. I'm creating my facebook ads today. I've already accepted, I don't have the images yet. I wasn't able to get that done yesterday, so I got really far yesterday but didn't get all the way there. So the ads, I'm guessing we'll be running by the end of the day today. Um, that's on the real estate side. Another angle that we're going to take is that we're going to launch a pre foreclosure litigation firms. So we're going to be giving our clients kind of multiple options and angles, um, as far as being able to serve them for what they want to do.
Like if people want to try to keep their house and avoid foreclosure, we will have a law firm that specializes. OK, so you can't say specializes, but we'll have a law firm that allows us to go to court and potentially start, you know, file a lawsuit to prevent foreclosure proceeding from happening or at least delay them so that we can try to negotiate with the bank and allow the tenants or the owners of the home to stay in the home and, and possibly reduce their payments. So that's one, one angle, but some people aren't going to be able to afford to hire an attorney. Of course these are business, so it's not like it's a non-profit and we can just do it for nothing. So if people can't do that, then will essentially tell them, OK, well there's still another way that we can help you.
We can do it by actually buying house and maybe preventing the foreclosure from going on your record. So there's going to be two ways to service those leads I've talked about on here before. I'm kind of like the no lead left behind mentality that I'm trying to have with my clients. Meaning whatever problem it is that they have, I want to try to solve it. And when it comes to real estate, as far as, uh, just my initial thoughts of what these people are going to need, those seem to be two angles that are going to be a definitely helpful for clients. Now it may turn out that there's some third and fourth and fifth way that they need help and if we can help them do those things that would make our business better and service our clients in a better way, then we'll try to incorporate that if not into our business, but at least with a partnership of someone who handles whatever problem it is that they have.
So there may be some other way besides litigation or just outright selling their home to help them if that, if it, if that's what we learn in the course of business and we'll try to solve that problem as well. So everything moving forward, uh, I don't know a ton about pre foreclosure litigation, but I get, I can get crazy, you know, and learn all the, at least the procedural aspects of it here in the next couple of days if not like, you know, in the next month or so. And then, um, if I have to go out and sit down with, with my business partner in Houston who's been doing pre foreclosures and just learn it from him in like a 24 hour period, I think I can do that because I don't think I'm going to be spending the time in court. I'll probably be working with the clients to get them qualified initially and see what they need.
And then if a, at least in the beginning, if litigation is required, that's kind of what my partner's specialty will be. So we're complimenting each other in that way that I'm more skilled in the online stuff. I don't even want to say skilled, but I'm more. That's just my world. My world is like lead generation and uh, understanding how to, how to provide value to clients and his specialty at least right now is actually doing the pre foreclosure stuff and probably discussing things with clients and closing deals and things like that. So it's going to be a good, a good marriage. I think we talked about that because he's, he's actually about to get married now, but he's about to have like a big wedding and um, I was telling him, you know, we need to really be sure that we want to do this because we get along really well and I went to law school with the guy and we knew each other there, but we've never really worked together on anything but a becoming business partners is like being married.
And so we're like, you know, let's, let's date a little bit before we jump right into getting married by discussing our businesses kind of on a daily basis and keeping in touch and, and talking about exactly what we want to and how we want the business to move forward. But that's what's happening so far. So I'm really excited about this, that I'm even documenting all the steps that I'm taking as far as real estate on the backend to help clients, a potential real estate investors that we might be able to create a course for them or something to help other real estate investors do what we do and sometimes if you can train people in real estate to help them make money and that can. That can be helpful to you as far as meeting other people in the industry and doing what are called joint venture deals where if they can't find a buyer for their house, they'll come to you and then you can just split fees by introducing them to your buyers and just kind of brokering a deal between two people.
So there's just so many different angles. And having launched several businesses, I'm. I think I'm aware of the mistakes I've made in the past on those businesses and I'm really trying to stay on top of making sure that I'm documenting everything that I'm doing so I can teach it in the future. And also my llc business fits in really nicely with real estate as I've talked about on here before. I'm just creating tons of lcs for real estate investors in itself is a good business model. So I'm still working that angle. And that's the only thing that's kind of holding me up on this is that I'm really a still learning a little bit about [inaudible] with real estate, but also servicing a lot of people right now just like providing tons of client that I'm not clients but tubs of value to potential leads and figuring out what their questions are, what their hold-ups are on the [inaudible] side.
So this is coming at this thing from four or five different angles to see how many streams of income can possibly come out of, of one, one a niche. So yeah, a lot of stuff going on with real estate right now. And that's what's going on with my week is having as good of a week as I am so far. Everybody's doing some deals and uh, having a great, great beginning of the weekend and just playing out your business and the way that you want to. So talk to you guys tomorrow. Let me know if you need anything as far as LLC related or have any questions as far as the real estate stuff that I'm doing. Um, you can reach me at chance at LLC. Welcome to the entrepreneur like you with business attorney and entrepreneur chance reynolds, a daily podcast that brings you the best legal tips, marketing strategies and storytelling tactics that will help you grow your business the right way.
So big week. This week I know that I'm going to be doing tons of real estate stuff this weekend. I know not everyone that listens to the podcast is really all that interested in real estate investment, but since this podcast is only works, if I talk about what I'm doing, I have no choice but to really talk about real estate investment on here. But just because I'm talking about real estate investment doesn't mean that the things that I'm saying or talking about don't apply to online business if that's where you are. Brick and mortar business, whatever business it is that you work in. Most of the principals like on this podcast and kind of transferred all of those. So one of the big things over the weekend that I did was just still answering questions from a post I made like last Monday in a real estate investment group for LLC, specifically answering questions about llc.
So a lot more people with a lot more questions in that group, on that thread, a lot more people asking me to create their illiteracies and you know, setting up consults and I'm hopping on the phone with people and Networking, meeting other attorneys that are in that industry. Some of them local, some of them you know in. I think the other. The other person was an Oregon, an attorney that I met with, but either way, the point of it is, is that facebook group posting and helping people within facebook groups, even if it's not your own group, it can be extremely valuable. Of course you can't fake it til you make it in this sort of scenario because you have to provide real, actual value. So if you see that there's a common question that people are asking in a facebook group and you're really wanting to provide value, do what I've talked about on here before, and go to the bookstore and pick out every single book that's on that topic and speed read as I've talked about on here, the chapters that are relevant to that specific situation.
So you can learn it and then you can apply that knowledge to help these people. So if you don't know about the speed reading, basically you're just pulling a stack of book books out. Like for example, when I wanted to learn about real estate, I just went and bought every single book on real estate investing in the entire Barnes and noble bookstore. I stack them up and then I look at the, the table of contents and I look at what the relevant portions are too, llc to, you know, for an attorney, um, to answer questions. And I read the chapter that the chapters in each of those books that dealt with that topic. And then by the end of that, you're kind of an expert and you can answer a lot of questions. And if you can't answer questions, you go back the next day and do the same thing again.
And I've done that like four or five times with real estate investing because I know a lot about the legal side. But I want to make sure I know all the steps that they're going through. So can adequately answer their questions. And provide them the proper steps that they need to take in order to succeed. And just in the course of doing that, you're, you will become an actual expert. And if you're not, then you're not doing it right. So that's the first step that you should be taking. If you're wanting to provide value in facebook groups and drive potential business to yourself in whatever arena it is that you're that you're doing. So one post I made but I spent probably 30 minutes to an hour writing over a week ago, is landing new business today. It's a great way to push business to yourself because if you actually have value to offer, then you shouldn't feel bad about getting people coming to you and asking you to help them because you're actually providing something valuable.
If you don't know what the hell you're doing, then go and learn how to do it and then come back and provide about. You can't really fake it til you make it for very long. I mean, maybe you'll get a little bit of success, but then once you start getting clients, people are going see you don't know what the hell you're doing, but it's not like you have to go get a college degree necessarily or go to law school necessarily to learn everything you need to know to provide somebody value. Of course you shouldn't be providing legal value to somebody but provide some other value, become an expert in some little area that you see that people are having questions in whatever arena, whatever niche it is that you're wanting to serve. So just be valuable and that's what I'm going to be doing this week is since I'm helping so many real estate investors, I really want to start investing like that's important to me.
Not necessarily because the money is so good, which that's one huge valuable piece of it, but because if I'm going to be providing a little C's, I need to know what the common pitfalls are and I'm not going to fully know the common pitfalls unless I do that. So like for online entrepreneurs, I've created online businesses so I know kind of the flow that they're going through and where the liabilities are with real estate investing. I'm going through the steps now, but I haven't actually gone out and landed a deal yet. So that's kind of my goal this week because I'm going to be setting up a website, I've got some email addresses and phone numbers. I'm going to be running some facebook ads, some custom audiences, and I'm just using all of my online marketing skills that I've developed to, you know, testing them to see if they'll work in the real estate investing world as well.
So real estate investing is marketing if you're doing wholesaling for sure, but it's not when I look at what people are doing with it, they're not utilizing facebook in a way that I think would be the most valuable. So they're used to using Google adwords, which is great. Um, but I'm much better at facebook. So I would rather create facebook custom audiences on the back end since I already have email addresses. If you don't know what that is, you need to Google and find out because it's super powerful. Since I already have these people's email addresses that I want to target and buy their homes, I'm going to run facebook ads directly to them. You can do that if you have their email address, it's called creating a custom audience and you need to, I think 20 email addresses, but I think I have like 300, so I'm gonna start running those ads hopefully today.
But before you do that, you have to have somewhere for them to land. You need some sort of landing page that at least has a phone number. So I need to get a phone number that's not my actual cell phone number to route them through a couple of steps to take. So hopefully by the end of the week, if not the end of the day, I will have all that stuff done. You also need art for your ads. There's all these little steps you have to take. But uh, that's what my week is looking like. I'll let you know how it progresses and if the ads work or if they fail because that's what I want to do on this podcast is kind of document what I'm doing and everything I've done so far with real estate investing and helping that crowd with [inaudible] and everything has been very valuable to me and I've provided a lot of value to them too, and that's the only reason is bringing value back to me.
So it's been. It's been kind of a crazy ride learning everything, so in such a short span of time, but if you really are motivated to grow your business and you see a an area within that niche that's not being served properly or there's some bad information or something that you can just add to that, that people are willing to pay for it, then you've got to really step up and fill that hole as fast as you possibly can because if you don't, somebody will. I guarantee it. Anyway, that's what's going on this week. I'm super hyped about it. Hope everybody has a great week and I'll be checking in and letting you guys know how this goes throughout the week. Have a great week. Week.

Welcome to the entrepreneur like you, business attorney and entrepreneur chance reynolds, a daily podcast that brings you the best legal tips, marketing strategies, and storytelling tactics that will help you grow your business the right way. What are the most common? He's
the vice advice that I hear is that you should learn to say no to things and saying no to things is so super important. And if you don't say no, your business can't grow. All these kind of just weird little sayings that people have about business and how to grow your business. But I think for the most part that's actually bullshit because if you don't say yes to things that make you uncomfortable and to things that you don't necessarily know how to do, you'll never know if your business can grow into that direction. So yes, it's important to learn to learn how to say no to people that are asking you to do things that are outside of the realm of your business that you just can't do because, um, you won't be able to move forward at all in your business if you do that.
But people will come to you with all sorts of stuff, asking you to do stuff that makes you uncomfortable, that you don't think you want to do, that you would never dream that you could do. And it's important to to try a lot of those things. And maybe that's not going to be the slickest, most systematized part of your business, but you'll never know if that's something that could actually benefit your business or something that you'll like or something that might provide the most value to your customer in the end until you try it. And so that's kind of the main thing. If you don't give people what they want from your business and from yourself, then you're not going to be able to really have a business. So if the most common thing that people come to you asking you for is that you just for example, for me.
So lcs are by far the most common thing that I do. And when I first started my business, I had the, the biggest intention that that's all I was going to do. No contracts, nothing else. Just all that's going to take up all my time and it does take a 99 percent of my time, but people come to me with all sorts of stuff and sometimes it's family members needing some help and sometimes it's just somebody randomly run into that just has a question about whatever it is that, that they were going on, you know, that they have going on in their lives as far as like legal aspects or who knows what it could be. It could be so many things. Um, so I wanted [inaudible] to be the number one thing that I did and they are the number one thing that I do.
And I started off really stubborn just saying like, nope, everybody's going to have to go through this pipeline and that's how I want to do it. And that's how I envisioned my business. But people don't care how you envision your business. They only care about getting what they want. And if you want to be good at business, you have to give them what they want. Not every business is. There are some exceptions where people can really dictate exactly what they do with their time, and I'm not saying that you should chase money as far as doing things you don't want to do just for the money. I don't think that's a good reason. A good reason to do it is to see what the system is to complete whatever project they've asked you to complete and if you can provide a really quick and easy system for that.
Even if you can't necessarily make a lot of money, you might realize that you have a talent for something other than what you're doing and that you might be able to offer a new product. So remember that when you're creating your business, you need to make sure that you understand the difference between a business and a product. And this is a mistake I've made an icu in a mistake that I see a lot of people making and why they're not branching out into new areas is because they have an idea for a product and that's the only product that they want to sell and they're moving forward. But most companies that just have one product are not going to be that successful. I mean, that's just the sad reality of it. If you have a business businesses sell multiple products and maybe one product you like less than the other, but maybe offering, you know, contract services or something for me that uh, people eat on a daily basis even though I don't really like doing contracts nearly as much as I liked doing all.
And I'm not as knowledgeable about contracts as I am about llc is if that's what people are wanting and people are coming to me the most with that, that's something I should consider, you know, creating as a product and people are going to be coming to me with that anyway. Even if I can outsource it or partner up with somebody else to do the contracts portion of it, you can just do the sales part of it. And then when they need an llc or they need some other legal, you know, product that you could sell to them, they're going to come to you because you've already helped them get what they want. And you did a good job and you, you know, you came to you with a problem and you solved it. So next time they have a problem, they'll probably come to you to get it solved. And that's why you shouldn't just say no to doing all these things that you don't want to do. Sometimes you got to do things you don't want to do business as business. Um, I'm not saying that you should be a slave to someone else's time, you know, make sure that your time is being used in the best way for your business, but also makes sure that you're not getting stuck on one product and not expanding your business because you're reading. All the gurus say that you to learn how to say no.
Hey guys, thank you so much for listening. I really, really appreciate everybody tuning in and all the great feedback I'm getting about the podcast. Welcome to entrepreneur like you with business attorney and entrepreneur chance reynolds, a daily podcast that brings you the best legal tips, marketing strategies and storytelling tactics that will help you grow your business the right way.
This way you can possibly make money online or in any business really is if you can provide a way for someone else to make money. So you have to think about business as you're solving a problem for somebody. Somebody has a problem, you're providing some value. It solves their problem. That's the most basic way to look at it. And if you went to a business school, you would spend, you know, two years after, after you got your bachelor's degree, getting your Mba and ultimately that would kind of be the purpose of what you would learn. You learn a lot more intricate studies and you learn a lot of tactics and you learn, you know, a lot of things of course about business, but ultimately that's what you need to know. So you provide value for someone else in a way that you make them money and they pay you money.
That's all it is. You can you just need clients, so I know that the number one problem in my business and most businesses is that I have a lack of clients and I need more and more clients in the pipeline all the time because as soon as your pipeline runs dry a, then you have to spend time filling that pipeline and while you're filling that pipeline and your business is not making money and you're not making money, so the best thing you can do, this is why starting an Internet marketing agency is one of the most lucrative in one of the ways that you can still make money so quickly. I guess it's. It's lucrative and it's a quick way to make money and there's a low barrier to entry because you're going to a potential client saying, look, I can drive money to your business and once you drive those people into the business and they get a little bit of return, they have no problem paying you money to get those clients.
That's the whole purpose of what you do. That's why when I started my llc business, I didn't really fully understand it. In that simplistic of terms, and so I like selling all cs, but it takes a long time to turn over because ll c's don't necessarily make businesses more money. There's not an urgency for that. If you're. If you could help people get clients, there's always an urgent need for people to have more clients and for their business to make more money because that's the purpose of their business and everyone who's in business needs money and clients, so urgency is something you should consider when you're. When you're determining your business model and what you're going to create. Does the. Does a client have an urgent need for that? Do they even realize they need it? Do you have to educate them first? So with [inaudible], one of the biggest hurdles I have to get clients is that a lot of times people don't even understand what the hell it is.
And even if they do understand they've gotten so much bad information from other people, they don't know that they needed. So I have to educate them. I have to overcome their objections of maybe some objections that they've created off of false beliefs from someone else, telling them something wrong, and then I had to educate them on the correct way that I had to convince them that I'm a better option than somebody else. Then I convinced them to give me money to do it. So there's a lot of hurdles there. If you want to quickly make money, understand Internet marketing and even just facebook marketing in general, if you can convince one person just that you can get them clients, even if they're on a free trial, you can start making money that way. You definitely can start making money that way because that's an urgent need.
I mean you have to understand how to do it and there are a lot of moving parts. It's not a simple business, but the urgency has already built in. So just thinking about that this morning, because I saw. I saw a video that was talking about product creation and it didn't really talk about urgency and to me having started several businesses, some that are, you know, have failed some that have succeeded in some, they're somewhere in the middle. I think that's the most important thing and if I ever create a new business, that's one of the things I think about how urgent of a need is there for the product or service that I'm providing.
