In this episode, the conversation takes us to Los Angeles, California, to join Aura Vasquez. Aura is a community leader, fearless social and environmental justice advocate, and former LA City Council Candidate. Aura has done some incredible work as a community organizer, from being the driving force in banning single-use plastic bags in Los Angeles to successfully advocating for the passage of the Clean Energy Pollution Reduction Act, which requires reducing greenhouse gas levels and utilization of clean energy sources. Aura has done some incredible work and has created her community organization called "Ready To Help." Ready To Help is a mutual aid organization that educates, empowers, & engages people to identify solutions on issues that affect their communities.
