In this episode, I take the conversation down to CALIFORNIA to join Brian Macdonald. An innovative and creative volunteer turned entrepreneur who has dived into helping solve take-out food containers' cultural norms. Brian is part of the Surfrider Foundation San Diego Chapter and has been involved in beach cleanups throughout the San Diego coastlines. Combined with creativity, Brian is slowly cultivating and building a community through his business M'Porte, of eco-conscious restaurant-goers in hopes of fighting against plastic pollution.
