Emily and Heidi are best friends. We first met them in a story called Fear (about a phobia of dogs).  In this story, they are both on a school trip to sunny Greek island of Crete.  Heidi studies ancient Greek. Emily is just along for the trip - and yet Emily seems to receive all the teacher's praise for her knowledge of mythology.  Heidi starts to feel an unfamiliar emotion.
