On this episode of the Northeast Hunt & Film Podcast Jason is joined with Brett Joy from Just Hunt Club. The two discuss a variety of topics based around the hardest thing in deer hunting to do... sit in a tree in for a week during the rut in the big woods of the northeast. It's both mentally and physically taxing on the body. Low deer densities, cold weather, and just sheer boredom will drive most people out of the tree. Brett has learned to trust his spots and the process, and he does it year in and year out. Last year he killed his buck on the 7th day at hour number 68!! That's a long week! He also talks about how tracking can help you find these key spots. If a buck, or multiple bucks, travel through the same notch, that's a good spot to be if you can access it clean!
