Jay is a seasoned physician leader with over 15 years of progressive and diverse experiences in the medical field and is currently helping Aktiia improve hypertension diagnosis, monitoring, and treatment as the Chief Medical Officer. In our conversation, Jay discusses his medical training from Harvard, University of Washington in Kansas City, and working at Massachusetts General Hospital. He then moves to a prestigious role at The Mayo Clinic after running a very successful cardiology line in Portland, OR and leaves that job on trust, faith, and a willingness to control his own destiny, to accept a position as Chief Medical Officer for start-up Aktiia.
