A dear friend of the show, Katie Blomquist, is the founder and Executive Director of Going Places, a Charleston-based non-profit with a mission to spread joy to children by donating bicycles to every child in their school. Through her hard work and resilience, she's been able to grow her organization from a local 501(c)3 to a national charity. Starting her career in the corporate world, then to becoming an elementary school teacher, she's worked diligently to stay top of mind with donors, business owners, and individuals through networking and social media. Katie has also created other businesses to start passive income streams and provide help to others who want to start building their own non-profit and help small businesses with their social media presence.
