Cincinnati Athletics’ “Let’s Reign Podcast” debuts with Bearcats men’s basketball legend Steve Logan. Logan, who scored the third-most points in Cincinnati men’s hoops history and was a two-time Conference USA Player of the Year, talks to host Dan Hoard about his legendary career. 

 

In the episode, Logan details:

  • The impact his uncle and cousins had on his love of basketball growing up in Cleveland
  • His unique recruitment and playing with fellow future college star Sam Clancy (USC)
  • Playing for legendary coach Bob Huggins and with Kenyon Martin – among other Cincinnati stars – and several inside stories about one of the top basketball eras in Cincinnati basketball history.  
  • How he went from the sixth man to a two-time conference player of the year and an All-American and many of his legendary performances, including the game he personally outscored Southern Miss in 2002, his school-record 16-assist performance and his final game at Fifth Third Arena where his last-second floater forced overtime. 
  • His reflections on Cincinnati, the university and the fanbase.
