Bizarrely, Facebook seemed to have given its “Ethics in AI Research Initiative Asia Pacific” honors to two rather Islamist Muslim scholars in Pakistan for their “understanding” of AI and the areas of antagonism with Islam. Their positions speak volumes to Islamism’s incompatibility with modernity.
