In this episode, we interviewed Ty Miller of Small Acre Hunting Podcast. Ty is from Northern Indiana learning to hunt on 9 acres his parents owned when he was a teenager. Ty owns 22 acres in northern Indiana in an urban-industrial area actively hunting and managing the habitat. We talked about how Ty manages his properpy and how he deals with the public. We explored the deer behavior in a high human pressure area.
Main reason I reached out to Ty was too add to his recent episode, "Why are companie offended by critical thinking?" I wanted to add to the conservation. We understnad buisness is buisness, however hunting and conservation is scared. Is manipulating hunters to buy a particular product really what we need? Do we need thar representing us as a whole? Ty and I had a great conversation about this tricky topic.
