A new ad that was released by Sprite in Argentina to celebrate LGBT pride has gone viral for featuring trans individuals, including what looks like a drag queen, and their parents. What wasn't featured in the commercial? Sprite's actual product, strangely enough. Calls for boycotts have already started online, and we'll have to wait and see whether this will turn into another Gillette fiasco and example of failed advertising (get woke, go broke!), or if pandering to progressive audiences will ultimately work.
