Always Better than Yesterday with Ryan Hartley | A Podcast for Heart Centred Leaders

Ep 107 Interview Sessions with Eddie Ilic (Eddie's Street Cuts)

Listen Later

This week I am joined by Eddie Ilic, founder of Eddie's Street Cut, a community based project that cuts hair for the homeless in Bath and Bristol in the UK. This is an inspiring episode with a strong message of HOPE. Eddie himself has recovered from drug and alcohol addiction and in his recovery, has started giving back, using his skillset as a barber.

In this episode we discuss:

  • Addiction
  • 12 Step Recovery Programme
  • The importance of community, human contact and connection
  • Service and giving back
  • The impact of a haircut
  • Eddie's message of HOPE
  • We hope this inspires you in your heart and your mind. We also hope it inspires you to look after yourself, to seek help if you need it, to reach out and help others if you can.

Please do share this with one person you think needs to hear Eddie's message.

    Always love

    Ryan
