It is so good to have Gemma Hunt back on the podcast. Gemma was originally on Ep 8 when we discussed her career as a children's TV presenter here in the UK with the CBBC.
Gemma has been working in TV since 2003 when she graduated with her First Class Media Performance Degree from The University of Bedfordshire. Having met an agent through a careers day at the University, Gemma's showreel was sent to CBBC who met her for an interview, invited her for a screen test and then offered her a contract with CBBC, all before she had graduated.
In this episode we discuss:
03:50 an interesting couple of years
05:00 shattering the illusion of the public pedestal
07:30 we all need hope and hope has a name
10:15 this season will pass
11:15 Online Alpha - enabling more people to journey together and ask questions about faith, life and meaning
13:30 counsel of Saints
15:00 plans to give you hope and a future
16:45 a daily choice to surrender
19:00 using our gifts to be salt and light in the dark place
27:00 don’t let people look down on you because you are young
30:45 off to the mountains
32:00 holding 2021 lightly
I hope this conversation inspires your journey in someway. Make sure this is a two way conversation and be sure to email me or DM me your questions.
Always love
Ryan
