This week, we’re continuing our 4-part series, The 4 G’s to Staying Focused on Christ! In the first two episodes, we talked about how we should Grow in our walk with the Lord and Guard our hearts from the things that pull us away from Him.

But today, we’re shifting our focus to what we should Guide our hearts toward — the good, the holy, and the life-giving things that reflect the heart of Jesus.

Just like good parenting isn’t only about saying “no,” our faith isn’t just about avoiding sin — it’s about choosing what’s better. Paul reminds us in Colossians 3:10–16 to put on the new man — to clothe ourselves in compassion, kindness, forgiveness, love, peace, and gratitude. When we do this, our lives begin to look more like Jesus — full of purpose, peace, and joy.
