Before the Republican National Convention last week, a large group of delegates met to discuss what the Republican party stood far, ie: the party’s platform. Delegates meet every four years, except in 2020 due to COVID-19, to discuss the platform and vote on any amendments. This year’s committee was quite different compared to years past. Host Joseph Backholm is joined by FRC’s Brent Keilen and Travis Weber, who were in the room as the decisions were being made. Spoiler alert, much of the pro-life and pro-family foundational blocks were removed from the platform. But why? And who is driving this change? Listen now to learn how the platform has changed and how as Christians we can to the best of our ability, point our country towards truth with our vote.
