Welcome back DC family! In today’s episode, we’re going to be discussing how the media crafts misleading narratives around the real estate market. They exaggerate their headlines and write their articles with half-truths.
Owen and I are going to be talking about this article that BlogTO wrote a month ago. The headline is “Nobody is buying Toronto homes anymore as demand drops to the lowest level in years.” If you live in Toronto, you know that is not true. As a realtor, my issue with this is that many of prospective buyers & sellers will read headlines like this and be misinformed. With misinformation, people will make decisions that can have a major impact on their lives.
There are many articles like this online and it’s time I finally share my thoughts on it.
