What does wellness mean to you?  Wellness advocate Chloé Pierre joins the podcast to discuss her new book Take Care.  Take Care centers Black women and their experiences and encourages them to take care of themselves in order to bring their best selves into the world.  Now while this book centers on the experiences of Black women, all readers, regardless of background, race, gender, or identity, can relate to and benefit from reading it.
Chloé and I discuss the various aspects of wellness and delve into some of the book’s chapters, like the history of self-care, wellness, mental health, and authenticity.  Chloé generously shares her wellness journey and talks about her love for meditation, journaling, and nature plus, we also get some book recommendations.  This episode will inspire listeners to reflect on wellness, self-care, and inclusivity.
