Recently, a teen was found guilty of lying about a gang rape in Cyprus. The British teen alleged that 12 Israelis held her down when she was on vacation, but she later recanted the charges and admitted to lying. Ten days after that, she rejected her retraction, however, and since then, feminist groups have supported her with the #IBelieveHer hashtag on social media. Is this case an example of a sexist legal system? Or does the evidence say otherwise?
