When photography was first invented back in the 19th century, it launched a number of people to find new ways to innovate and expand the craft. One photographer in particular who did something unique, was William Mumler. He was an amateur chemist, engraver and portrait photographer, who promised to give his customers something they couldn't get anywhere else--a photo of themselves with the ghost of a dead loved one.
