Static server meshing is not a new technology in gaming, but it is a more rarely used loading method. Dynamic server meshing, which is the goal for Star Citizen, is new but is still a ways away. Today I’m joined by two professionals with experience around this technology to talk about their opinions of Star Citizen’s application of the technology, whether or not it really is a big deal, and what the next steps are for server meshing.
