In today’s episode, we hone in on a statement that John makes in v. 29 and once again in v. 36. John cries out: Behold the Lamb! This is what John was sent to do, to bear witness of Christ. He declares that Jesus came to take away the sin of the world. He told those present that day, he had been sent to baptize with water, but he was also told how to recognize the Messiah when he saw Him. John bore record of how this all took place, and it still stands as a testimony for us today.
