  In today’s episode we see where Paul instructed Timothy to avoid foolish and unlearned questions because they produce strife. He said that the servant of the Lord must not quarrel but be gentle, skilled in teaching, patient, and meek when correcting those who oppose the truth. The main goal of we are to push for is that God grants them repentance because such people must be recovered from the snare of the devil. He used these to show believers that we must labor, strive lawfully, and endure to receive the reward. He used powerful Greek terms to highlight our need of disciplined effort. He urges Timothy to consider and remember Christ’s resurrection, noting his own suffering for the Gospel.
