Hershall, this was kind of an all around recap of my recent trip south. You come to expect this every week, but the boys took every opportunity to completely demolish me. The weigh every idle word and then criticize til it hurts but it’s not about my feelings. It was good to back in Studio 18. One of the things I messed up on (besides the sound-which I fixed live on air) was what we call an ice cream headache. Brooks also took that opportunity to make fun of his wife… #hurtful

Hershall, you will remember a voice from yesteryear that belongs to one of my very favorite people. It is my daughter Addyson G. Birdsong. She made a return visit to Pod'N Me to help tame the boys... spoiler alert: it didn't work. We had real trouble in the beginning with the mics and sound and then the debates insued... I can't recall all that even happened afterwards. One thing was great: Addy cleansed our musical palates. She gave us some wonderful songs to listen to. I hope that helps the direction of the music in the future. It was an absolute joy to have my favorite daughter on the program again! Enjoy!

Hersh, I don't want to alarm you by the title but I didn't know how to spell what happened today. This was a shotgun episode. I should have known that it was going off the rails from the beginning because I allowed someone else to start the show... We had a bunch of wonderful feedback that spurred a bunch of discussions in many directions. Deacon Dusting absolutely demolished a popular song which is what prompted the invented words in the episode title and then ends the show by talking about his huge family members who could sing... Hershall, I want you to be aware of something today... we just about had church on the last of this episode. The Lord has been showing us in monumental ways that He is very much alive and can do impossible things. Before we got there, we talked about a recent blunder I made in the pulpit and the boys criticized me, but what's new about that?? Hersh, today is likely the most monu-mental (heavy on the mental) day we have ever experienced on Pod'N Me. I know these descriptions can be a bit oversold but I made a huge apology to start the program and I really don't know what the outcome will be... will it change the future of the show?

Hersh, we went forward with our new segment that is full of main character energy and this week the main character is Deacon Dustin Wakley, who was brought forth back in the year of our Lord nineteen hundred and eighty. He told about his struggle with long hair and arcade games... some big confessions on this episode... Before we got to all of that, Brooks told of some recent fan encounters and used it as an opportunity to completely offend me... I should be able to get over it and hopefully show back up next week. Hersh, as we often talk about on this trash heap of a podcast, we went down the proverbial lane today with the Generation Z Boy and I think it make him feel special which is what we are after here at Pod'N Me... affirming, non-offensive, special feelings... We had a segment that would completely make the day of anyone, especially if you are in his shoes and want to be first at everything.... You'll see what I am typing about.
