Hersh, her we go again for another wonderful day on Pod’N Me. Things turned rather serious for a change but before them we had some anniversaries to celebrate and so we did. Brooks was back with a big update on his switch in denominations. He gets one survival blanket from a church and makes the switch. We had a rather lengthy discussion about faith and then landed the plane with more advice from the boys on all things church. Enjoy!

Hershall, it is sure a good thing you showed up today because we have a prayer request and it is not unspoken... We think Brooks may have went to jail for a horrible offense against the law. You will have to listen to find out. What we know for sure is that he DID have his day in court. Since he wasn't here, we had a great replacement for the show, his younger brother, Bryce J . Birdsong. He did a great job being interrogated (big word for questioned) about anything and everything. We asked about his fishing skills and his job grievances. We included our favorite quotes and in the end Deacon Dustin went on a rant about the dangers of data. He had Bro. Brad so convicted that he knew not what to do. We squeezed in a few minutes talking about finances and even lifted the 4est Frank ban for Bryce... Enjoy!

You have a grand John Brown (code word for grandchild as made a famous code word on this very podcast whilst talking about my grand John Brown a couple of weeks back) and you and Loretta are some kind of proud about it. Hersh, who would ever dreamed that over six years ago at the inception of this highly sought after production that you and I both would be this old?!? That is the main subject matter of all that transpired today on the show but that's not the only thing that happened, so enjoy the rest whatever it was....

Hershall, this was kind of an all around recap of my recent trip south. You come to expect this every week, but the boys took every opportunity to completely demolish me. The weigh every idle word and then criticize til it hurts but it’s not about my feelings. It was good to back in Studio 18. One of the things I messed up on (besides the sound-which I fixed live on air) was what we call an ice cream headache. Brooks also took that opportunity to make fun of his wife… #hurtful

Hershall, you will remember a voice from yesteryear that belongs to one of my very favorite people. It is my daughter Addyson G. Birdsong. She made a return visit to Pod'N Me to help tame the boys... spoiler alert: it didn't work. We had real trouble in the beginning with the mics and sound and then the debates insued... I can't recall all that even happened afterwards. One thing was great: Addy cleansed our musical palates. She gave us some wonderful songs to listen to. I hope that helps the direction of the music in the future. It was an absolute joy to have my favorite daughter on the program again! Enjoy!

Hersh, I don't want to alarm you by the title but I didn't know how to spell what happened today. This was a shotgun episode. I should have known that it was going off the rails from the beginning because I allowed someone else to start the show... We had a bunch of wonderful feedback that spurred a bunch of discussions in many directions. Deacon Dusting absolutely demolished a popular song which is what prompted the invented words in the episode title and then ends the show by talking about his huge family members who could sing... Hersh, today is likely the most monu-mental (heavy on the mental) day we have ever experienced on Pod'N Me. I know these descriptions can be a bit oversold but I made a huge apology to start the program and I really don't know what the outcome will be... will it change the future of the show?
