Hershall, we are glad to be back with flying colors (an old adage-big word for old saying) and they guys were hitting on all cylinders (another adage) today. Well, that is all but our beloved Deacon, Dustin Wakley. As you know he has made some personal changes over the last almost 5 years that we have been recording these episodes (in a more shall we type, unsettling direction). He was the one that came out hard against animal rights when it pertains to housing and such and then took an about face (military adage) when a precious pet found herself in the clutches of his pool cover. Today he made another big change. He let us know during a recently made popular segment that he is setting out to save the Earth... Songleader Brad gave him the title of CSO (a title known as Chief Sustainability Officer) here on the show. I think you will be aghast (big word for shocked beyond belief at the way he chose to save our great planet, but it is undeniable that he is doing just that! Other things that happened today was Brooks had a real struggle reading agin so there's that. I can't recall every thing else but really why should I have to? this is only supposed to be a brief description of the show so you will go listen to it yourself. I am really overworking myself here but I do what I can for you, Hersh. In the end we talked about the false premise that the prosperity gospel puts forward that we should give to God to get something in return. That was how the show ended... Enjoy!

Hershall, we had a wild ride today on the podcast... I said we because I (the boss) joined the show toward the end, fresh off of the ER visit we talked about last week. (We record every two weeks so this week's episode actually happened last week. I know it's crazy huh?) The guys started out with a strictly forbidden song and believe me, if I would've been running the program it would've never happened. That started a downward spiral into horrendous songs and that really never got better until Josh Smith redeemed us with a "Name that Tune" segment. Speaking of Josh, we had a listener who has never met Rev. Josh express their desire to do so and went on to describe what his voice sounds like he would look like (read that several times slowly to see if it makes sense). It was one of the best descriptions and it got some mileage. IN the process we found out Bro. Josh plays a mean (and fast) game of basketball. We also found out that Deacon Dustin cuts his own hair every few days and so much more. I joined at the end of the episode to tell my side of the recent wreck where God spared my life, for which I and forever grateful! Enjoy the episode!

Hershall, I am glad you showed up today even though not all of us could make it to church. We did still have four members of the podcast on the program for today and it was.. well, you'll have to listen to get the details. I (the Poderator) was involved in a vehicle collision as I was on my way home on recording day and the good news is I am doing great but, unfortunately, my vehicle didn't fare so well and the guys talk all about it on the show. Of course, they made it a funny and gave a few jabs at me here and there but thankfully I am fine and God is Good!! The guys had some great feedback and we heard from Bro. Josh that he isn't interested in attending church this Easter but it didn't hinder him from including a very good talk at the end of the show about the Resurrection of Christ... I mean, the boys got plum (big word for absolutely) serious around here. Enjoy!

We talked about the challenge to prove something without going the route through their heart first. It was an interesting discussion. Hershall, Here we are per (little word for as) usual with our weekly meeting on the trash-cast. As you have become accustomed to, we bring you some hard-hitting topics mixed in low-hitting humor. Amongst (editor's question: why do we use this word without the "st" at times?) the topics this week are: cordaroy pants, main character-ing, chair moving projects, and we even through in a few names that we've heard people use for a certain kind of saw (weh-weh saw was my favorite). Hey Hersh, good to be with you again, friend. Today was a good day and a grace filled episode. We talked about that subject from the beginning (or close) and even talked about it at the end... but in between, things got diverse (big word for all kids of). We gave some advice to some new podcasters that wrote in, we had the subject of vaccines mentioned as well as: booster seats, thank-you cards, putty knives, skin stickers and Forest Frunk (the past tense of a singer that Brooks is fond of). You will be completely underwhelmed at how we flawlessly weave a tapestry of subjects together (a preachy way to say we talked about a bunch of random stuff). Hershall, it is mighty good to have you here, as always, if you are here? We had another history making day here on the trash-cast. As we promised last week, we shared a new song writte... I mean, produced by Josh Smith as an intro. It will be a major billboard hit I am sure. Gen Z boy got some clarification on what a baker's dozen is and knowing his track record for math you can imagine how difficult it was to convey the concept. I also gave a heartfelt apology to Deacon Dustin over a recent win that I gave credit for but failed to give the percentage of the win... it was meaningful for him to get that apology. Although it did bring light to a major regression (big word for setback) in his walk with the Lord... not my apology, nor the win but the path in which he had to travel to win... well, you'll see. It's difficult to convey through typology (big word for typing). We had a Rich Man Poor Man segment that was a preacher's edition. It was disastrous but we made it. In the end I shared about an upcoming holiday that gained the ire (big little word meaning anger) of my cohorts. Enjoy!
