This week I am joined by Nick Bailey, Husband, Father and former Detective Sergeant. After serving 18 years as a Police Officer, Nick is now a speaker, talking with organisations about mental health and resilience.
On Sunday 4th March 2018, an assassination attempt was made on former Russian KGB officer Sergei Skripal. Nick attended the Skripal home address and unknowingly became contaminated by the nerve agent Novichok. Nick battled through intensive care but the fight wasn’t over. After leaving hospital he and his family were told not only would they not be able to return home, but their possessions would also need to be destroyed.
This is an incredible story of a family showing resilience and pulling each other through.
In the episode you will hear:
03:30 getting caught up in an assassination attempt
06:00 the events of Sunday 4th March 2018
12:30 a tsunami of fire
14:15 “you have novichok in your system”

I know this will inspire you.
Please do share this with someone whose heart and mind you wish to inspire too.
Always love
