In the movies and on television, the good guys always seem to win in the end. That's fine for a Hollywood script; but, in real life, men quickly discover that the tension between right and wrong never wraps up neatly in an hour or two. Instead, we fight a daily battle to reject evil and embrace a righteous life. Even back in King Solomon's day, the struggle was real. That's why the advice he provided in Proverbs 12 about rejecting wickedness and pursuing righteousness still resonates with our hearts today.
