It's always awkward when a host comes back to the show after a hiatus, and this week was no different. Following his brush with the Moderna Mob, Chairman Ice was back in the fold and dropping nuggets on everything, from that post-vaxx life to the newest, hottest fried chickens in the area. There was a lot to unpack but it wasn't all sunshine and rainbows, as the Frozen One openly declared war on the 17-year scourge that is the cicada. (FWIW: Don't count on any cicada-recipe exchanges in the weeks and months that follow. Balut either.) There was some local sports talk and a little crypto chicanery sprinkled in toward the end but you're gonna need a lot more salt, pepper, and lime to clear the palate this week.
